I am honored and forever grateful for the opportunity to tag along with a good friend to visit the location in which my ancestor fought. Being included in one of your videos let alone one about my family is an experience I’ll never forget. I was excited to see how the video would come together and you did not disappoint my friend. Thanks again James !!🇺🇸

Dustin Glad you got to visit a battlefield where your ancestor fought, I've had the same feelings when I visit places where my ancestors fought. Check into the SUVCW Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War there are camps everywhere across the country. Good organization to learn and honor your ancestors.

thank you for the kind words. Funny enough , the way I found out about my ancestor to begin with was through a local SUVCW camp near me. Definitely a great organization and proud to be a member

I love these unit level stories about the large battles of the Civil War and really loved hearing Dustin talk about his ancestor that fought on that very ground. This is where history comes alive.

Thank you brother... I LOVED IT. As a history lover, I just love knowing because I just need to know. lol Have a blessed day and blessings to you and yours to my freind... Carson

@@ProjectPast1565 FOR SURE... It felt extra special.... in your last video i was also very into it. I knew the Angel of Fredricksburg battle was killed at Chicamauga but now you filled in the gaps of when and where. Richard Kirklan was a true hero and testament to the deep inner part of humanity and the image of God in each of us.

Thanks for the reaearch. Our family (2) ancestors in the 21st ohio. Pvt John Croshaw died at chickamauga; Filmore Croshaw survived, walked away when the confederate friendly fire happened. They had the colt repeating rifle. We recently visited the battle field and stood at the ridge at the 21st Ohio monument....

Once again, I appreciate your efforts to show the topography, including the steep slope. How would the Confederate soldiers ascend under fire, darkness, and some without shoes?

There is a time capsule at the tower , will be opened in 2077 , this is inside the tower as you first walk in the entrance ,when you walk out from the tower monument there are several signs indicating where the brigades were one is Long's corps, brigade, company ? There are so many things that are not covered in these videos 😞😮😂 , you can't cover everything but if you could it would be very interesting.😊 Thanks for telling about what you have told in this video.😊 The civil war is so interesting.
