  • Hey Guys and Gals!
    Check out Christian's modified VDJ76 series LandCruiser Tackling some crazy tracks at Swan Gully 4x4 Adventure Park.
    The 76 is running Mark's Adapter Portal Axles with 35inch Mickey Thompson Mud Terrain tyres. The portals give it a 6" lift above standard using standard suspension and keeping the comfortable ride and handling. Utilizing the factory diff centres with strengthened diff housings the 76 can still use the factory diff locks front and rear which gives you 100% Traction all the time!
    There are some very challenging tracks at Swan Gully and lots of rock crawling and steep tracks, If you enjoying rock crawling then you should definitely check it out they offer camping facilities, toilets and showers.
    These are the videos i took on the day on my camera, we also have 2 gopro's with footage of my 80 series and some more of Christian's 76 as well. So Stay tuned for more videos!
    Shout out to Steven Jappe who we ran into out at Swan Gully Park, was great to catch up and check out his Modified Fortuner, check out his channel @ / stevenjappe
    Thanks for Watching ! If you enjoyed please support my channel by liking and subscribing :D

    Love seeing footage of Christians 76. The part where you used the winch to move a tree me and my mates usually do it by hand. Never tried the winch but good idea 👍🏼. I guess we are always just feeling very energetic 💪🏻💪🏻 after a few big Dare Iced Coffee’s. Can’t wait to actually take a ride in this beast! Great video again fellas, work your way up to be on TV.

      Cheers Steve! We had a go at moving the trees by hand but they were both wedged between other trees and we couldnt budge them. The winch did great job, made it super easy 😁 the 76 is a beast!

    So do the new axles make it legal in QLD for the 76's with ESP and traction seeing though we're only allowed to have a max 2" sus and 1" tyre lift? Obviously the 35's won't make it legal, but with the 6" axle lift? does it still comply with QLD lift laws?

    • @LowRangeNick
      @LowRangeNick  4 роки тому

      It can run the portal axles, 2 inch lift kit and 35's legally on the road in all states.

    • @LowRangeNick

    What a beast. Is the suspension stock? Any reduction in the gearing via the portal axels?

    • @LowRangeNick
      @LowRangeNick  6 років тому +1

      Roger Cole the suspension is stock and there is a reduction in the portal gears which brings it just lower than standard gearing on 35" tyres 😁

    • @Chris911356
      @Chris911356 5 років тому +1

      Hey mate, I got them through Micks HID projectors. The light they output is amazing but I have been having a few issues with them and you might notice they get swapped in and out over the other vids that get put up. Mick himself was not great to deal with. In saying that it could have been I just got a bad batch. Just my personal experience.

    Cheers mate , your 76 is sooo damn hot n sexy
    Please do me this lil favor and kindly answer my 2 questions:
    1- What's the average cost for the whole mods for portal axle for the 70 series (in USD if possible)
    2- Does it work with Left Hand drive cars (as I live in the Middle East) ? or ONLY meant for RHD ?
    The reason for question #2 is because I'm not a geek mechanic and not sure whether there's a difference or not
    Thanks
