Now I just give fake names... like the number 22, so that way when they call it out, people look down at their receipts to see if they've switched to numbers. Works like a charm. +George Fairweather There are different ways to spell it, but it's just none are as popular as the traditional spelling of Victoria. Every name has at least one other variation of spelling.
I was just suggesting a location where "Viktoriya" is more common, which is similar to how your name was mistakenly spelled. To whoever spelled you name incorrectly, "Victoria" probably isn't the traditional way to spell the name and they spelled it the first way it came to them.

( after all we are humans too ) For the logical and undeniably impossible to mess up names argument, well, I don't know if you've realized but there is a thousand different pronunciations in our heads, because we are not all born in the same city :)

Okay.... this is one of those stories that I have to share and I enjoyed your video.
I was in Starbucks once and was waiting for a friend who was running late. The barrista was being obnoxious- I don't know what her problem was. She kept answering texts between helping customers. She was snippetty every time some-one asked to have their coffee a specific way. No cream? 'No duh.' May I have extra sugar? 'Whatever.'
I don't know if she woke up on the wrong side of the bed, if she was texting her boyfriend who just found out she slept with his brother, I don't know. But it was almost sporting watching this barrista just be an all out witch with a capitol B to everyone. Until someone I dubbed "Load" came in the door. Why I dubbed him that, I shall explain.
He came up to the barrista and ordered. What he ordered, I don't know. It wasn't important other than it contained mint. For some reason, this set the barrista off. She started hemming and hawing about what "The rules of courtesy" are at Starbucks. I only see a menu when I walk in, but evidently there were rules posted someplace about what you can and can't ask for with a coffee. And there is a way you are supposed to order it, and a percentage she DESERVED for "putting up with" her job. I think "Load" just was an unlucky guy in an unlucky spot, he did not deserve the tirade he got. It was enough of a tirade everyone stopped and stared like a cheap comedy show where the comedian normally performed for drunks and suddenly found themselves standing in front of a sober audience. The barrista's co-workers also surreptitiously found things to do in the back or something because they all disappeared.
Mr "Load" stood there for a moment, taken aback. I don't know what went through his head, but he straightened his back, put his change in the tip jar, and announced "Excuse me."
It needs also be mentioned that the bathroom was near the register in this Starbucks. By near, I mean maybe 20 feet. Mr "Load" stepped into the bathroom. He was gone long enough for me to wonder if he was in there crying or upset after the lashing he got. However, Mr "Load" then stepped out of the bathroom. He looked lighter, prouder, almost glowing with accomplishment. Behind Mr "Load" came an odor that could peel paint. I don't know what Mr "Load" had done, what ailment his gastronomic system was suffering, or what meal Mr "Load" had had before, but this was an inhuman scent. It was enough to see the barrista pale, her eyes watering. Mr "Load" calmly picked up his drink order and announced to the barrista who was now the only employee in sight "I think something is wrong with your toilet. You should see to that." Mr "Load" then stepped out the door. Those near the bathroom were also taking their cue to leave and those who could were holding their noses or laughing. I do not know what tragedy the barrista had to cleanse from that bathroom, but I'm sure it involved Karma.
I almost shit myself laughing so hard. This needs to be in the next video!

The reason behind this, is pretty much Starbucks advertising. They know people would post a pic or tell a story about it on social media, and that will attract more customers to Starbucks.

Actually, it's pretty hard to hear so many different names with so many different ways to write them, and write them all correctly.
Star Bucks, wants to remind you of their great coffee and modernly advertise their brand... by trolling you through an indie (media / comedian / you tube channel) by the end of the video you're supposed to be smiling because you love internet trolling and you'll deffinitly be thinking about the brand (at least once for the coming few days or weeks depending how busy you are)
I'm sure the whole cost of the video doesn't come close to the cost of hiring a Barsita capable of writing your name right - which is the actual reason why this happen frequently.
