Fantastic plans for the perfect size of a Paddle Board. Thanks for your help and the plans. I built the Shellback skiff and the pooduck. Also a Capehenry 21. The PB will build IT with my 9 year old grandaugther . Great family fun yo build IT and paddle.
Thank you for the plans, Aaron- I am really looking forward to building this! You make it look too easy, I am inspired and grateful for you generously sharing your expertise and knowledge
Soooooo excited! I have to wait a couple of days for the plywood (islands 🙄), but for someone who has never built anything even close to this in her life I'm so proud of my level & solid workbench👌built this morning in 3 hours (note looking after friends' house, so no idea where tools are🛠️😂) READY TO ROCK😎 Can't wait for the plywood to be delivered 💪 (a bit shaky from this morning's effort 😁😆)
Man you are the best! I've been looking everywhere to find plans and instructions on how to build my own sup. This will be my first project of this kind I'm really excited!
Hey Aaron thanks for sending the sup plans. I'm dead excited now especially seeing you on the water. I've had a lifetime in manufacture and recognize your good work.
Nice start and off the back of your comment about plywood I thought it might be worth mentioning that you can get cheap plywood that still has the "A" type bond of marine ply. Just look for exterior grade structural plywood, very cheap and lasts forever in all kinds of weather.
Hi Aaron, got the plans thanks. Now have something to do with winter slowly moving in in Ontario, Canada. I’m a little confused on the measurements for laying out the the keel
Hi Aaron. Thanks so much for the paddleboard plans. It is 100% going to be my next projekt. Greedings from Denmark and thnx again 👍🏻 Keep up the good work m8 👌🏻👍🏻
@@Aaron.deRuiter No I didn't, but to me that is a little counter-intuitive for the little play boat I was making for my boys. Why save $15 on the plywood, then cover it with epoxy that costs much more? I'm sure it works in some cases, but for the next job, I just decided to fork out the extra cash for genuine 4mm marine ply.
@@jesseyoung9654 @Aaron de Ruiter I'd also rather go for marine grade ply - unfortunatelly i could get it only in 4 mm. Making some weight calculations i'd estimate if the board in 3mm ply weights 14-15 kg then in 4 mm would be ca 17-18 kg (get's even stronger but also heavy...)

Aaron Huge thanks for the plans, cant wait to get started!!! Just one quick questions (of hopefully not many to come lol) 12mm x 30mm dress all round.....would you know what that would be equivalent to in the United States? for the most part so far i have been able to everything close to us sizes
Aaron - I just came across your channel and really like it. Are these plans still available or do you have plans only for the Wombat? I would really like to build and I don't need a kit. Thanks.
Hi Aaron. I subscribed to your channel awhile ago. I wrote down your email to get a copy of the SUP plans but I can’t find it. Could you please send it through so I can email you. The SUP looks awesome....Paul.

Exactly my thoughts mate, for projects like this you can get away with non-marine plywood. As long as the glue is an A bond.
thanks for the plan i'm curious if i can get it all but i'm looking forward to the project.

Thanks for watching guys. Keep an eye out for episode 2 next weekend!
Starting from the start. Episode 01....
thanks for the plans mate :) İ am starting :)
You’ll hate that ply. I’ve used it for a boat project. It’s not for outside use. I learned the hard way.
Jesse Young did you seal it with epoxy? My 2 year old outrigger sailing canoe is holding up really well with the exact same plywood.
