Great video, the rocky Noll reminded me of a ride around Boho.

    What a magnificent camping spot!
I’m going to try hammock camping this summer. I think it might be the best way to stay cool.

cheers mate ;). let us know how you go with hammocking, it takes a few times to get it right, my first hammock camp was definitely not my most comfortable. if overnight temps are below 15 degree Celsius, I would recommend an insulated pad or better yet an under quilt :).

Merci :), it was an amazing spot, I will definitely be going back. The tracks getting were a little technical but nothing too hard and I was taking it easy with my foot as it is still healing :)

The golden hour footage is awesome, best part of the day when in the mountains.
I have the Nakie hammock I’m dying to try.
Looking forward to the next episode with the new bike. 🏍️
Looks like the ankle got better.

Cheers mate, that sunset is one of the nicest I've seen in a while.
Let me know how you go with the hammock once you try it out, the nakie tarp is pretty awesome, it has line locks on the corners, makes putting up and taking down so easy.
The ankle was a tad soare by the end of the trips. I've been doing laser and ultrasound treatment prior and after the trip to help with healing.
I'm pretty stoked on the next ep, it will be a loaner bike I'll be testing and filming for a few days.

@@Tales_Of_Moto_Adventures I bet you are stoked, a new loaned bike, can’t wait for that episode.
Trouble is I live in Tassie and a hammock can only be used one day in the summer 🤣😂
I riding over to the west coast of Tassie for 3 days at the end of the month, I will throw the hammock in and hopefully get a chance to try it.🤞
Hope your ankle keeps getting better.
      Stay safe

😂, I'm well and truly a light adv bike kind of guy, I come in at 65kg without gear on. The DRZ is already pretty heavy for me, I have struggled in the past to get her upright on steep hills. Saying that a Maneufracturer offered me a test ride I could not refuse 😁.

360 Degrees Furno stove kit. I swear by mine, have had it since 2016, never stopped working.

Wow almost a decade of use at that price point is awesome. I've been using mine since 2019, the burner is going strong, pots have seen better days.

How to do tackle the fear of encountering a wild animal? Would love to know your thoughts. Great content dude!

      Cheers dude, much appreciated.
Where I live in Australia the biggest danger is snakes and spider (we have some really nasty ones here). I try to be as camp savvy as possible, not leaving my tent bug net or any bags open, checking my shoes and boots before I put them on. If i have to pick up wood for fire or stone to build a fire pit, I am always careful and check before I put my hands on things. you can greatly minimise the risk of getting bitten by being careful around camp.
I spent some time in Namibia and Zimbabwe , we are much lower on the food chain in those countries, at all times when in the wild, a member of the party would carry a firearm of a caliber appropriate to the biggest animal threat you could encounter. When I lived in the USA, I carried a 380 or 9mm compact when heading into the wild, In addition, I would carry bear mace when going into areas where bears would be active. in areas where big cats or bears were active, we would store food and food scraps away from the tent and gear.
Doing research, packing the right gear, and having plans of action for various situations you may encounter will make life a lot easier when s#@t hits the fan. I find that if I have done my research and I feel ready, my stress levels are a lot lower.
      thanks again mate :)

Hey man do you upload your videos to private, then change to public at a later stage? Last few videos seemed to just appear well down my sub list between other videos I’ve already seen. And typical UA-cam notifications aren’t telling me a new videos up.
That aside, great location. When you rode up there I was hoping it was going to be a hammock night. Works soo great in locations like that. And this time of year I don’t even put the tarp up. And a hearty feed to go with it. Thanks for sharing.

I could not agree more, such a good location for a spot of hammock camping :), I reckon I still have to get my feed game up a little. Grampian trip MRE's were gross, so have to redeem myself lol.
I'd really like to try hammocking with a tarp, but I don't trust Victoria's weather enough to do so.
I do upload the videos to private, but only for a few hours. they are on private until they are processed and I have finalized subtitles and do the usual checks. I would say no more than 2-4hrs on private before they go live.

@@Tales_Of_Moto_Adventures man what ever works best food wise you don’t. Most just stick to the 2 minute noodles or pasta bakes so you already have a leg up. And I don’t know what the fascination is with MRE’s, after a stint in the army I hope I never see one again lol.
