I am a Palestinian American living in the US my whole life. My parents are Palestinian immigrants. I am well versed on the heartbreaking struggles and cruelty that my people have lived through at the hands of Isreal. I have never heard anyone that is non arab be so familiar and articulate about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Thank you so much for having this interview with Marc Lamont Hill. @@rafaelw8115 I use the term African American/ Black because that is the separate culture I relate to, and grew up in. “African” is a term referring to the people of 50+ different countries all with their own culture, values, and history. And I was not raised in the culture of either one of those 50+ countries, but for the better or worse, was raised in the culture of Black American / African American culture, and I’m proud of the culture that we do have and what we’ve shared with the world. I love African people, but we do not share the same cultural experience. And that’s okay.
His understanding is NOT that deep, his knowledge of this issue starts in 2007 when this issue is roughly 2000 years old. He doesn’t know what he’s talking about in fact he’s not giving an unbiased view of the situation.

No, if you want to ACTUALLY be factual and trace that route-- Jews are the natives of ALL of Palestine (which is a land region and NOT a nation. You could call Israeli Jews "palestinians" technically) dating back over 3000 years ago. What happened then is the Jewish people--being the single MOST oppressed and discriminated group of humans in history-- were attacked, enslaved, and many were displaced and scattered throughout the mid-east, Mediterranean, and Europe. In this time, Arab muslims begin launching more and more attacks on the remaining Jewish tribes (The old testament and the Quran both speak of how Mohammed even slaughtered a thousand Jews himself to conquer one of the tribes) and THEY begin establishing colonies all throughout the region and beyond. If ANYTHING the Arab Muslims are one of the GREATEST colonizers in History alongside England and a few others. Now, then we have WW1, the British Mandate and the return of many Jews to the homeland, because they were no longer safe in other places. This return is wrongly viewed by many as the Jews colonizing the Arab land-- FALSE. That is still their home and many Jews still existed there, but they had been pushed out and murdered by the actual colonizers-- the Arabs. Then we have the establishment of Israel, during which and throughout this time they are attacked by MULTIPLE Arab nations from MULTIPLE sides and yet prevail each and every time. Now, what generally happens when you lose a war? You often lose land. That is exactly what started happening with Israel, but people will paint it as their "expansion". NO! They got attacked, they defended and won and the losing aggressor lost parts of land. Now keep in mind the bits of land we are talking about are TINY!! The entire area of Israel is about the size of New Jersey in America. That is ALL the Jews had. While Arabs had over 50 nations at the time and still have about 25 or so in that region-- Israel was declaring their tiny sliver of land as their official state so that NO ONE could ever come and drive them out ever again. Fast forward to The gaza, West bank situation-- How many times has Israel offered peace and a 2 state solution? Countless times. I have more to say, but my fingers are cramping. There is a TON wrong with the way history is told about this conflict.

The problem is, they don't support American Descendants of Slavery - the US institution (ADOS) right now & will not in the future. How do you compare 246 years of chattel slavery, 100 years of defacto slavery & continued slow present-day genocide of ADOS. Palestinian Americans do NOT support ADOS in our fight reparations, an anti-Black Hate Crimes Bill (we are the #1 victims of hate crimes & the numbers of all other groups added together are below ours), Lineage-based Affirmative Action (AA was previously sabotaged by adding ALL other groups, including White women who got 83% of AA but owned 40% of slaves). Every other group in the US 🇺🇲 is against reparations, anything else & have a perpetual hatred for ADOS yet each group compares their struggle to ourselves. They will NEVER change. I pray God's judgment on this wicked, reprobate, & unrepentant nation.
