- Did Yeshua exist before creation? Who is the Torah referring to when it says, "Let US Create"? Is this a reference to the Trinity? How does Jewish thought challenge Western interpretations of scripture? Have you ever thought about these questions? In "Messiah Before the Foundations," Rabbi Damian unpacks the mysteries of Genesis, exploring the pre-incarnate presence of Messiah and its implications. You won't want to miss a single episode of this series from our 2017 archive.

G-D bless you Rabbi Damian and thanks for stepping on my shoes. I need it, I am growing, learning and more and more is making sense hearing The Word Of YHVH through Jewish eyes. It's the only thing that makes sense. Thanks again. Baruch HaShem and Baruch HaShem Yeshua. G-D bless you all at Shalom Macon. Keep pushing the true Gospel Message that you have been pushing. And may HaShem continue to grow you all, and bless you all as you walk in obedience to G-D. Pure undefiled religion. The Way Yeshua and the Apostles walked in.
In your teaching why didn’t you simply say, what “Jehovah said,” in the verse? Let us make Man in our image, He spoke it. Is that not rational. Is the plain text not a reasonable answer to your question and statements. You did not say this but spoke of what were rational ways of thinking. Word play and thought games.
I sincerely appreciate, learn and enjoy your teaching. Blessings
George.
No matter how many times i listen to teachings or debates on this subject, I've yet to hear a person, from either side, go on to read the next sentence. Why is that? It seems there's always something that will contradict the words we cite that absolutely prove our interpretation.
It says, let us make man in our image, then what happens when it switches back to the other narrarator? It says, and so God created man in HIs Own, image male and female created He them.... should it not keep the same pronouns of they and them? so is Moses a heretic? Or is he still on the milk, only having a basic understanding of the scripture that is being writ through him by way of the holy spirit apparently? Why is that any less valid to decide the correct stance than the verse before? Is it because the other comes first? If so, let's see if that herminutic or method keeps working out each and every time another example of this issue comes up. I'll bet it won't.
I'm sorry if i seem passionate, I'm not criticizing you, I'm not even saying I'm right. I don't know what to believe. I'm starting to think either it doesn't really matter so much, which is why the English translation doesn't try to be exact. Or Yah knew we all have very different brains and so allowed the text to be loose enough that it can line up different ways for different people in a way their brains can work with it. Like if a school wants kids to read more books, it would be unproductive to stock only autobiographies in the library. Yes, those are great types of books to read and some kids will love them and will benefit from them and will be able to see that reading is good for them. But not everyone likes autobiographies or can retain any information from them, so they will likely have a negative feeling towards reading altogether. Not a perfect example but I think it works.
Otherwise we just have to deal with the fact that humans translated it and errors happen over time. Either way we get judged by how we live our lives in the end and not how we understood scripture. With that said, I would love to know your thoughts on the part: so God made them male and female... created He them. And why it doesn't matter in the overall conclusion of its meaning. Thanks for reading my vent. I have little fellowship with this type of content in my life haha 😊
By the way I've listened to 3 in a row, very easy to listen to and enjoyable
Divine Council/assembly
Anyone who would describe Yashua as having "long flowing blond hair ... and bright blue eyes" doesn't know the scriptures ( 1 Corinthians 11 ) and doesn't know that Yashua was from Israel.
