Not taking place in the story nessesarly but just like a being that's there making sure the reality isn't fucked up too much or something. Unlike XD that appears and interracts with the story.

My only complaint about the mod was the lack of any appearance of Techno. He was a massive part of the DSMP, too. At least give him a hidden screen, animation, song, or SOMETHING.

Techno was gonna be in the next update, seek said that they want to give the best for techno thats why it took awhile, sadly the mod canned
