For the last 5 years I feel like each album is an amalgamation of all the ones before. There arent enough flowers for Sosa.

What the reviewers really don't get is that Sosa's UA-cam stuff and mixtapes from back in the day are just as influential as his drill albums. You don't have the same proliferation of these spacey digital synth productions with the auto tune vocals if not for Sosa (and of course the bop scene)

You don't understand Keef's influence at all. He was a drill artist only until like 2012 and while he brought the genre to mainstream he is hardly one of the most prominent or influential drill ariststs of 2010s. His real influence is in shaping soundcloud/trap/mumble/autotune/melodic wave that defined 2010s and artsists like Uzi, Carti, Yachty, Lil Pump.. His magnum opus and what actually is his most infuential work are mixtapes like Bang Part 2 and Almighy So that brought flood of creativity, different unique flows, cadences, deliveries and if you follow most of these new generation artists that's what they credit when talking about Keef's influence.. and that's basically everybody because he is the favorite rapper of literally every single artist under the age of 27..

Pitchfork just gave him an 8.4, Rolling Stone gave a good review and he just did interviews with the Grammys and Apple Music he gets a lot of coverage for a independent artist tbh especially since he doesn’t clout chase or follow mainstream trends/music

He doesnt care what anyone thinks, truly, while most who act nonchalant actually care a great deal. He is a creative genius, designing, producing, everything. I appreciate you seeing how he operates and respecting and reviewing his music with that lens in mind. I wore polo shirts with big logos on them in high school because he did, the most influential artist of my generation.
