You should never rotate the camshafts or crank shaft independently while the head is mounted to the block but the timing chain is not installed. What will happen when the valves of a cylinder open with the piston at top dead center while you force cam or crank to complete the rotation.

Hello. Your videos are great. My corolla 2010 with the 1ZZFE exhaust smokes while the pcv hose is connected to the PCV valve. Disconnected and blocked the hose and now no smoke. Engine also consumes a lot of oil. This is a used car, don’t know how the previous owner maintained it. Pleas help.
Hello experts, My mechanic changed my top cylinder on my car toyota corolla 09 model due to a sound at the top cylinder. Note: that was the only issue my car had before I took it to him. Unfortunately, after the completion, I went to pick it up and in a 5 minutes drive away from the workshop, the car started misfiring and overheating. Eventually, the car couldn't start anymore and the mechanic went ahead and ringed my engine that there's low compression. I told him he spoilt my engine because it was in a good condition before I took it to him apart from the sound at the top cylinder. Please, what do you think caused that? He changed the top gasket as well. Your expert feedback is appreciated. Thanks.

We use duel fuel [Gasoline + Compressed Natural Gas (CNG)]. Most of the time it's run by CNG. Can you please suggest me what can I do to solve the overconsumption of fuel?

One thing confuses me about this engine, why didn't they use bearings for the camshafts? I wanna install a more aggressive cam for my intake and exhaust but im not sure if I should due to the surface they rest on might be worn to shit.

Depending on how many kilometers your car has driven, the engine may need overhauling.

Bro in modern engines like 1zz no need to measure the clearance btn the valve cap bcoz it adjust itself

In such a case I can't tell you anything without seeing it, if the engine compression is low, then the engine will have to be opened
