Because he is a very special vocal and instrumentalist. "Baglama" playing style is someone who is taught as a course in universities. Rob, the real masters like Neset dont need a pick. Altough he is using it here. What i did notice of Neset Ertas, like most masters of the Turku like the one youre listening here. we know music is a way to express our feelings. When Neset starts talking. Very Naive. Its a complete different person. But when it comes to singing and playing the music he made, based on his own life. He is Very clear, in such an amazing way he can express himself way better than he talks. Another Saz master (Orhan Gencebay) once said: The way Neset is playing his Saz. Was like he was praying to Allah. Unfortunately . He passed away and If you would check his last performance. The way he was performing you can tell that he was very sick. He will always live in our hearts. 😔
