@@MasterofVoice Some people will choose to watch an anime just because Yuki Kajiura was announced as the music composer for the show. She has as much star power in the community as LiSA does. Yuki Kajiura is responsible for the music from shows ranging from fist of the north star to Pandora Hearts. Most of the music in SAO (sword art online) was composed by her as was Madoka magica and Fate zero. If you want to check out more music written by her I believe most of the music sang by Kalafina was written by Yuki.
Honestly I'm glad I've heard of her now because now I can explore all the other music she's written it's amazing though how she can condense what is originally sounding like a rock song into a piano arrangement to me

Yuki Kajiura is one of the most talented composers in the world and She's like Hans Zimmer of the anime industry. Every song, every soundtrack she has worked on is a masterpiece. Also she discovered many talents and helped them get into the music! A great person in every aspect.

I think the context that Lisa feels nervous is not because it's a one take but rather because she doesn't want to disappoint Kajiura as Kajiura made the song and is a well respected figure in the industry. That's why they laugh when Kajiura responded that she too is nervous (again not because of one take) to suggest that she also doesn't want to disappoint Lisa.

I recommend reacting to Mika Nakashima's performeance for THE FIRST TAKE, she is one of my favorite singers, with a beautiful voice and the way she is able convey so much emotion makes me cry every time. So much to say about the Anime. As in many, the main character endures "huge trauma" when is family is murdered by a demon while he goes to town on an errand. The only survivor is his sister, who has now turn into a demon. He is determined to find a way to "safe" his sister and turn her back into a human. To do this he becomes a part of the "Demon Slayer Core". There is so much to the story but what I would say are two of the main points is that, no matter how hard things get, don't give up, don't let go of your dream/hope/mission and keep growing, learning and moving forward until you achieve what you set out to do. I'll just say this, you definitely have to see his Isseino Kassai music video from the first take, it's a masterpiece.
LiSA and Kajiura also collab'd with From the Edge (supposedly her official inclusion to Kajiura's FictionJunction, her current longest-running project), but there's not any publicly available live performance unfortunately.
The only reason Yuki Kajiura's name is not as popular in mainstream as Yoko Kanno, Hiroyuki Sawano and the likes, is probably because she's on the more reclusive spectrum of musician, also tend to be particular about which series project she wanted to take on. Not just anime, she had made songs for some historical drama series too.
Her expertise and signature was opera orchestral arrangement, magical soundscapist lyricism (to the point of making her own actually meaningless language based from Latin, called Kajiurago, just to be lyrics sung by her vocalist colleagues). Parts of some of her songs need to be sung like an aria and sometimes even a whole oratorio, so she mostly only pick singers from her past collabs or held an audition, the latter case for Kalafina's full member completion.
Some of her masterpieces from Kalafina era (originally a quartet but became trio not long after, ran from 2007/8-2019) in one live perf video, English subtitle available there. No need to react to it, just wanna share good music made by Kajiura.

If you liked this you must see KALAFINA. It was a group created by the same composer, Yuki Kajiura. I still have a hard time listening to them without crying because they overflow with emotions in both their vocal performance, the music... It's simply incredible. (The group disbanded a few years ago. I'm sure you'll love it.

HI! I love you video, I have one suggestion what about Taka the vocalist of ONE OK ROCK he has one of the best voices I've ever heard, he even has a version in studio of hello by Adele, give it a try their performaces are pretty good.
Notable standouts, imo, from the first take are LiSA (of course), Zutomayo (full name is Zuttomayonakadeiinoni), Aimer, Ryokuoushoku Shakai, and of course Yoasobi. I also love Ali in the first take but not sure if a hip hop/rap/jazz band will fit a vocal coach reaction. Cheers and have a great day!

How the anime ties in with the song?
Here goes
The first part have "Kuruma" which is Japanese for the "carriage" train which is where this particular of arc is set.
Spoiler alert, as you can see the lyric all suggest about the better tomorrow and how life goes on for "brighter" future. but sing in such a "sad" feel.
This is because this particular arc end in tragedy with death of a secondary character that in short time become someone the MC admire very much.
As for "praying for light" this can be translated to either brighter future or "sun" which is a theme in this anime as the "demon" they slay have great weakness for sunlight. And the last fight is a race to keep their enemy in open field while sun is rising.
The other easter egg is "Truth win out" is because there's a demon with illusion power that take advantage of human's weakness, showing them beautiful dream they don't want to wake up from. So dream referred to in this song have both positive and negative connotation.
The drenched in blood is quite straight forward, it refers on the tragedy at the end of the arc.

Lisa's vocals are just always magnificent, and Yuki Kajiura is a fantastic composer. Have you ever heard of majiko? She's doesn't sing with as much control as Lisa but her live performances just really stick with me. This is truly a masterpiece. I coud listen to this all day and still get impressed about all the things she can do with her voice. Also your reactions are so passionate i love it. I would recommend you to give a chance to a japanese band called "Sukekiyo" and another band called "Dir en Grey" both from the same singer called "Kyo". The first one its an experimental band and the second one an extremely heavy metal band. Even though they may not be your type of music i think you will be amazed about the vocal range and the power of the singer.
