Wow! My sun is Aquarius and moon is Taurus. Mid 2023 was a huge shift for me in finding my own voice and self. By the end of 2023 I went on my first international solo trip and in the beginning of 2024 began the processing of moving abroad to work for a tech company. This blew my mind!! Thank you!

As an Aquarius Sun, I disagree with the lady on the self checkout stance. Self checkout allows more independence to both individuals. The individual of the worker is no longer necessary and can move to things that they are actually more passionate about. This is why I embrace the A.I take over. I would think that most people do not like being at work just because it is of society and the oligarchs whom want them to keep working. Instead, hopefully more people can actually pursue their passions. Exactly, the need for universal basic income which is being tested in various locations throughout the world. If the lady is so concerned with the human connection, how about she help form community gardens and interact with her neighbors more. Sorry for the rant. Coming from a Destiny Number 11 (Visionary) in Numerology.
This is similar to how I feel about technology as well! People are concerned about losing jobs, but we have already observed an obvious loss of available employees in the work force. Due to internet & technology advancement, many of us are able to generate various forms of income outside of a traditional workplace. So my HOPE is that what you said becomes our reality. A lot of us have lives that have improved thanks to the internet, and as we continue to ascend the point is to evolve not devolve so idk why a lot of folks in the spiritual community want the internet and technologies to be wiped out. I feel like this is coming from a place of fear of technology, but what if we can co exist. I’m sure if we develop healthy ways to use it without giving our power away to it completely would totally benefit us!!

Aside from the internet itself, technology is going to be one of the key factors for humans to live in a way that uses natural resources intelligently rather than recklessly. If we don't integrate technology into humanity, we will be unable to sustain human life unless we become smart about it. Continuing to ravage the Earth in messy, industrial ways is far outdated. Technology, if we steer it in the right direction, will be beneficial for humans AND the Earth. We just have to be open & ready to adjust our lifestyles & mindsets ✨️
It helps prevent theft as well. The clerks at the self checkout can focus less on being pressured to be fast and pay attention to other more important details.

pluto is transiting my sun sign ( i'm 29 degrees capricorn in the tropical system/natal chart) recently and these last few years have been hell, especially the last 6-12 months. lost my fiance due to her infidelity, stepson, pets, my home and also my job as we worked together and i decided it best to leave. so, emotionally and financially i have struggled since may of last year (you mentioned mid 2023). i also have about 5 pluto aspects at the moment, including other aspects including mercury, pluto, mars and the sun either on or close to my descendant. crazy aspects and placements. i'm sure pluto will still have its influence when it moves to aquarius as i'm a late degree cappy. it's my birthday on the 20th, i could do with a huge break. i need some luck and abundance.

yes, it's definitely been a wild ride. it's been 13 months since we broke up and as i mentioned, may was when i last saw her at work (she's a pisces!!!). i had 3 months off of work because of my mental health, went back and couldn't handle seeing her, so i had to quit for my sanity and soul. first time i have ever had counseling in my life but us cappies are resilient and tough if nothing else. we have it rough.
on the plus side, all this negativity made me concentrate and become (as you have mentioned) deeply re-invested in my spirituality; i found tarot and from that looked into astrology and although i feel lost at times, the interest, fascination and study and my thirst for knowledge has opened my eyes to the person i am and why i have struggled at times in life. i have learnt some harsh lessons but the answers have revealed themselves. as the saying goes 'it's written in the stars :)

i've always been an old soul, even when i was a kid and have always stood out, been different and always felt and have been told that i'm on a different frequency to most people, which is a blessing and a curse. highly attuned people always have that cross to bear.
as for what you mentioned about technology, it has its positives and negatives. one of the good aspects is it allows likeminded people to interact, as we are now, and allows yourself to share your knowledge and insight on these platforms, and to delve into a community of similar souls.
i've always felt and known that there's much more to life than we see in our day to day; work, bills, stresses and strains, but sadly these things seem to take over and we can lose 'ourselves' to the machine.
it can get somewhat lonely and difficult interacting with autonomous people, but thankfully there are people like you and platforms available to share, discuss and learn on our journey and i am looking forward to mine.
