Flamin' magnificent!!! I'm glad you guys did all the hard work so that I could watch and be part of your adventure in the comfort of my lounge chair. Brilliant use of angles, lighting , camera gear, etc etc. Thanks Ronny and Crew for putting it all together. I know doing all that is not easy. You guys sure know how to inspire and motivate people to get out there to enjoy the Great Outdoors of this BEAUTIFUL country. 10 thumbs up! 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍.
Ronnie, all that way from Perth and you drove straight past Kata Tjuta (The Olgas) to hurry up and get to camp at the WA border after seeing sunset at Uluru and didn't even look at Kings Canyon. Guess they are still there for next time.......
Very much enjoyed sharing along in your trip. Thanks for all the hard work! Just getting into 4X4. 66yo. Bought an FJ. Your videos are inspirational. Virginia, USA.
What an epic adventure guys! Absolutely loved it! Highlights even more how much i want to hit the desert. Your videos are getting better and better! Better than tv quality series! Keep up the great work!
Loved the night time sequence at the Ghan siding, always sad to see an adventure come to an end but then there is always the next one to look forward to.
That is what its all about!!!! Got stuck behind a 20 car tag along and found a great, interesting, in the middle of nowhere, place to camp and hang out. I can't believe you didn't show us that last cap site ..grrrr Cheers from Florida!!
It is truly an amazing place, walked up it as a kid in the 70’s again in 1988, 2004, 2018. There used to camp to the right of the climb in the 70, 80 camped there as a kid
@ronnydahl Loved the series mate. Only problem is had to wait 7 days for the next video 😂 ! Keep them coming, love to do a overland trip like that ! Thanks Guys for sharing your Adventures! 👌 Love our amazing country ! 🇦🇺
Fantastic series guys! Part of me thinks it's a bit crazy going through the middle of nowhere in the desert but the other part of wants to make this trip so badly! I was at Uluru in Dec-2014 (using normal roads), I can confirm the 40+ degrees temperatures.. but wow what a location cheers
Great series lads, loved it. I was out in the middle of the Western Desert in Egypt a few years back and came across a sleeper with steel plates. The plates read, "made in Sheffied England 1807" The empire hey. lol. Amaze balls. i still have the plate.
wow! What an awsome trip, felt like i was there the whole time aha. Footy was mint all the way through-out the series. Thanks and keep up the good work! Awsome stuff this chanel is eh. from SK, Canada! ✌
Torbs needs more air time god damn it!. Can you please do a "get to know the crew"? To ask personal questions and in depth interview not just a car q&a?!
Torben sometimes replies to comments here, but yeah more crew time would be nice.. mind you after 10 ? days in each others company mayby they don't want to see each other for a while .. haha
Just with the growth of the channel, nothing at all is working better for up an coming "group" channels than in depth interviews, in car camera bloopers etc etc. We all love formality be we also love getting to know you ALL on a personal level, makes us feel like we are "apart" of the team and will ALWAYS entice us to have that notification bell on!
I remember going to Ayers Rock and the Olgas 40 years ago, magnificent, nothing but dirt roads in those days and you didn't get robbed by inflated prices either. You could still climb the rock too which was hard work. I long for the old days well before the latte sipping PC crowd ruined the world.
Thanks for your videos, I always enjoy them. Our travel is diferent to yours however, I like to be fed & cleaned up before dark giving lots of R& R time. We climbed Ularu in 1988, it took me 3 hours to get the women up & back, both afraid of heights then 20 minutes for me to run up & back. Then helped a woman down from Chicken Rock- she was petrified with fear. Watched the sun rise & set over Ularu then set over the Olgas while we were there. We went in an HJ47 Troopy, slept on the roof & sat up there with a card table, directors chairs & nibblies. A young, Asian couple liked the idea & climbed onto the roof of their hire car. When we were going to watch the sun set over Ularu, we were approached by an Aboriginal man from an HQ Wagon asking me for "pussum" it turned out he wanted me to push the wagon with my Cruiser. I did so & he tried to start the wagon. After a while he singalled me to stop, which I did. Some of the passengers climbed out & walked off with a jerry can for fuel. At that time the locals only spoke their own language & would not speak with Gubbas.
Hi Jason, many complained about it so I tried something different. But then even more people missed it than complained :D So the next series will be the return of the old intro song...........
This has been an outstanding series, Ronny. Beautiful drone footage crowned it all, and the interplay between the characters added warmth too. We have nothing like that here in the UK so, for me, it's been educational as well as entertaining. Ayers Rock looked incredible - what a shame that you didn't send the drone up there but I can understand the sensitivities. The bonus episode should be worth a look too. Thanks again, Ronny. 👍
thanks mate, we needed permits just even take photos there, drones are possible but it took the last guy 8 months to get it approved. We only had one day :D
Quite an exploratory adventure. Good on yous. Q&A portal axles, would you put them on your landcruiser? How do yous combat getting sore sitting for these long tracks?
Dam, I was hoping you would have stopped at Docker River. My daughter and her partner were running the shop at the time you went through. He is a great fan of yours. I had a collapsed front outer front wheel bearing on my 80 series near Porcupine gorge QLD in July and it wrecked the bearing carrier/spindle, had to drive it to Richmond to get spares. The next time I go bush I'll be taking a spare one. Great trip, love your stuff.
another time mate we well check that out on the way through. Outfilming permit was a per day charge so it was a bit rushed. and Yes you need a permit even as a UA-camr but I doubt many would even know this.
Excellent series Ronny, you fellas do so much night driving how do you go with Roo's and Emu's. I find heaps of light helps. Maybe an episode in that:D Thanks for sharing!!
I do miss the comraderie of good friends, most of mine are gone now, and the few of us that are left, are scattered to the four winds. I envy you guys that, as much as the adventures.
I drove from Perth to Cairns then down the east coast then back across stopping at Uluru on the way there. It was the best sight I ever saw coming over the horizon. (This was in 2009)
LMAO the part they are walking to the river with all the rubber toys with slow motion. Lol. Great work guys. Got any other trips planned. Also @Ronny, looking at buy a Land Cruiser 80 series, what is the appropriate KM's where it has not passed it life span, so I can get more use out of it?
Luca Natoli loved that it just followed Ronny inflating the inner tube saying everything needs two uses in the bush, cue Torbs with giant inflatable platypus ...........
Apparently the salvage on the old Ghan line didn't make sense. It was quite a treacherous route through flood plains. If a railway abandons a route, I prefer they pick up the rail bed and let the fantom loco.'s ride on.
they were all over the place 50--80. The road was good for 110 but we were happy to do 90-100 safely. Over 100km 50-100kph makes a huge difference. Also the dust from 10 cars is S%$#
Hi Ronny, can you please post a photo on google earth positionning the memorial to Dr. Bruce Philip Lambert in the center of Australia, I didn't find it on Earth, I know it's between Lilla Creek Airport and Finke. I am a surveyor and I just want to have this info juste for me, thanks Ronny. A big Contry,Good Landcruisers and good friends what else..... Very very nice Video.
P.s that bottle from the ruins is very European orientated by the bend in the script and design, possibly settlers who first made that building with the aborigines
I’ve been op top of Uluru in Februari 2009 😀 How do those 4WD vehicles deal with potholes? Once i almost broke a wheel off a Holden Commodore on the Tanami Road in a pothole lol. Is it less dangerous for 4WD’s?
G’day Ronnie, great trip mate, long time patreon supporter ( always have given a like 👍🏻 but never made a comment ) my sincere apologies Ronny don’t want to hijack this great content and I’ve never ever complain about anything and I’ve run out of options as I’ve left questions on his Instagram page but I want to ask anyone else out there that bought an arm rest from Harry from FiretoFork that this UA-cam page has verbally advertised he is a importer of this item and hasn’t received it, after nearly 8 weeks ( payed on the 15 August ) and numerous emails which he now doesn’t reply to, I’m very disappointed as I thought Harry was a great Aussie character from Ronny’s UA-cam clips. Ready to go away on a 3 week trip that I was expecting to have it by now !! Who else have been let down ? Regards Darryl
Hi Darryl Ronny just told me about this - he's not involved in the business but he likes to look after his Patreons. I'm so sorry mate, I have emailed you twice to update you about it but they must be going to your junk folder or something because they haven't go through. We had some quality issues with a part of the first batch so we're not shipping for another week - these were always pre-orders so it was a minimum 6 week wait and i have always said early Oct. If you email me with your address on the trip I might be able to have it shipped to meet you on the trip? Alternatively I could offer you a refund or discount on our new canvas range. Sorry again for the miscommunication, I'm not sure what happened but I definitely have replied previously. Cheers Harry
Harry, I’ll make one more comment on this as I know Ronnie is not involved in this, I only used his UA-cam page because I ran out of options, last email you sent to me was : sorry mate, I’m over overseas for a few more days, I’ll dispatch it as soon as I’m back : that was on the 15 September, I receive around 20 emails a day during my work day, I do know how to check my Junk/Spam folders there hasn’t been reply’s, it was never mentioned about a October delivery date !! how bout contacting me today to resolve this on going issue. Again my apologies Ronny Regards Darryl
I apologise again mate, I'm not sure what happened to my update emails and the tracking number, but I have checked your order and it's at the local post office for you. Cheers
Miss the older videos with more technical driving etc. Last few trips are getting kind of boring just too much driving. No doubt amazing trips to be on but somewhat boring to watch.
We learned about the nature and geography of Australia through your interesting travels.. Greetings to all of you✌
Flamin' magnificent!!!
This series was better than anything that comes on TV...
Thanks Ronny and team 4 Wheeling for sharing a great journey across the Simpson.
Ronnie, all that way from Perth and you drove straight past Kata Tjuta (The Olgas) to hurry up and get to camp at the WA border after seeing sunset at Uluru and didn't even look at Kings Canyon. Guess they are still there for next time.......
Enjoyed the series. Thanks for all the hard work with getting it together.
Very much enjoyed sharing along in your trip. Thanks for all the hard work! Just getting into 4X4. 66yo. Bought an FJ. Your videos are inspirational. Virginia, USA.
Thanks Wooden, keep watching mate :)
That water tank for the steam train was next level guys.. good find 👍
Always a good day when Ronny Dahl uploads a video. Thanks for the amazing episode 👍
11:30 "We are running low on fuel" All the engines running in the background :D
haha very true, Wayne had plenty we will just take his :)
Do all cruisers have a similar fuel consumption (when not towing). Whose setup is most efficient
Turbo timers🤔
What an epic adventure guys! Absolutely loved it! Highlights even more how much i want to hit the desert. Your videos are getting better and better! Better than tv quality series! Keep up the great work!
Loved the night time sequence at the Ghan siding, always sad to see an adventure come to an end but then there is always the next one to look forward to.
A great series, thank you.
I like Wayne's cooking approach! Mahala!
That is what its all about!!!! Got stuck behind a 20 car tag along and found a great, interesting, in the middle of nowhere, place to camp and hang out. I can't believe you didn't show us that last cap site ..grrrr Cheers from Florida!!
thank you, awesome series.
great five videos Ronny thank you looking forward to here about bonus episode.cheers every one.
great ending to an awesome trip, loved it
Cinematic gold as always Ronnie. Cheers from New York🍺

I would too. Maybe one day soon... maybe...
Love your videos and your respect for your viewers. 👍
A fantastic series of video's, have already recommended to a friend, truly enjoyed, well done to all involved
The time lapse at the water tank was epic!
Yeah, really good! See how the color of the tank changed? Awesome!
Fantastic series guys! Part of me thinks it's a bit crazy going through the middle of nowhere in the desert but the other part of wants to make this trip so badly! I was at Uluru in Dec-2014 (using normal roads), I can confirm the 40+ degrees temperatures.. but wow what a location cheers

wow! What an awsome trip, felt like i was there the whole time aha. Footy was mint all the way through-out the series. Thanks and keep up the good work! Awsome stuff this chanel is eh.
from SK, Canada! ✌
Great series mate. Loved it. Wish I was there.
Nice work. Thanks for the experience
Torbs needs more air time god damn it!. Can you please do a "get to know the crew"? To ask personal questions and in depth interview not just a car q&a?!
It’s something we are building towards
Agreed, he is quite a character :)
Im sure they had plenty of air after eating that Vindaloo
Torben sometimes replies to comments here, but yeah more crew time would be nice.. mind you after 10 ? days in each others company mayby they don't want to see each other for a while .. haha

The surf music was perfect!
Thanks Ronny, another great video!
Epic. Not often you could thank a 20 strong convoy either.
hahahaha very true
I enjoyed that thanks.
Great video work.
Great idea not to follow convoy and find old train station
Hey Ronny, Another great adventure keep them coming.

Great trip video, I miss the music you used previously for the intro, why did you change I thought that was your signature.
Hi Jason, many complained about it so I tried something different. But then even more people missed it than complained :D So the next series will be the return of the old intro song...........
yeah bring it back missed it
Yep thats signature Ronny Dahl adventure music. Tell the haters who's the boss:-)
Excellent journey!
I watch most of your content via Roku so I can’t always thumbs up. But I absolutely love your videos.
Another great series mate! Bring on Part 6/5!
Great timelapse cheers.

Another great series Ronny! I was a little surprised you didn't go to Kata Tjuta as well, I guess you can go back lol. Cheers Steve

Good idea night driving tips and hints. I think we would be all over that one
Hope you walked the olgas
That's the best bit
What dates did you go though
Rekon you would have been there same time as me
I do miss the comraderie of good friends, most of mine are gone now, and the few of us that are left, are scattered to the four winds.

Nice one guys 😎

28:11 what is in the bottom right of the map NSW? I'm from SanDiego not to familiar with Australia just Sydney.
Apparently the salvage on the old Ghan line didn't make sense. It was quite a treacherous route through flood plains. If a railway abandons a route, I prefer they pick up the rail bed and let the fantom loco.'s ride on.
Will there be a Canning stock route series in the future?
There definitely will be in the future but not dates locked in as of yet
as Torben said 100% yep
When you were stuck in that convoy going too slow, what speed do you like to be at on that type of road?
they were all over the place 50--80. The road was good for 110 but we were happy to do 90-100 safely. Over 100km 50-100kph makes a huge difference. Also the dust from 10 cars is S%$#

nice
What happened to the Olgas and the journey through WA?
no fun showing a rushed home journey. we made it home in 2.5 days from Uluru.
It was a great series, thanks for the hard work producing it for us
I’ve been op top of Uluru in Februari 2009 😀 How do those 4WD vehicles deal with potholes? Once i almost broke a wheel off a Holden Commodore on the Tanami Road in a pothole lol. Is it less dangerous for 4WD’s?
Ronny do you wear Lowa boots?
Hey Ronny you ever been to Mount Augustus ??
Yep there is a series with it. Look up Kennedy range
Will do.
I wonder how they got the tank up on the stand and full of water there would have been some weight on the stand.
What year would it have been built? Nowadays they would helicopter. Maybe they would have used pulleys and rope
got me thinking, would have been a job and a half, especially out there.
Peas in da loo! Lol
13:13 The Old Ghan
Gaviscon Ronny
U need to take gaviscon
what happened to episode 4? (on private)

You can give someone Nurofen, it's not prescription.
Legally you can't even give panadol. Nanny state laws
well in W.A. at least not sure about the N.T. which was where we were
G’day Ronnie, great trip mate, long time patreon supporter ( always have given a like 👍🏻 but never made a comment ) my sincere apologies Ronny don’t want to hijack this great content and I’ve never ever complain about anything and I’ve run out of options as I’ve left questions on his Instagram page but I want to ask anyone else out there that bought an arm rest from Harry from FiretoFork that this UA-cam page has verbally advertised he is a importer of this item and hasn’t received it, after nearly 8 weeks ( payed on the 15 August ) and numerous emails which he now doesn’t reply to, I’m very disappointed as I thought Harry was a great Aussie character from Ronny’s UA-cam clips.

Hi Darryl
Ronny just told me about this - he's not involved in the business but he likes to look after his Patreons.

Sorry again for the miscommunication, I'm not sure what happened but I definitely have replied previously.
Cheers
Harry
Harry, I’ll make one more comment on this as I know Ronnie is not involved in this, I only used his UA-cam page because I ran out of options, last email you sent to me was : sorry mate, I’m over overseas for a few more days, I’ll dispatch it as soon as I’m back : that was on the 15 September, I receive around 20 emails a day during my work day, I do know how to check my Junk/Spam folders there hasn’t been reply’s, it was never mentioned about a October delivery date !! how bout contacting me today to resolve this on going issue.

I apologise again mate, I'm not sure what happened to my update emails and the tracking number, but I have checked your order and it's at the local post office for you. Cheers
Ronny how do you use hema maps when planning out a big trip like this planning routes etc.
Now that’s a whole video on its own
@@Ronny_Dahl if you make it, ill watch it. will be buying a new hema before the year is out.
Miss the older videos with more technical driving etc. Last few trips are getting kind of boring just too much driving.
No doubt amazing trips to be on but somewhat boring to watch.
Who was driving at 24:47? or wasn't haha
1st gear low range... Andrew (4xOverland) did the same in one of his videos...
I wasnt, they are very slow in 1st low. good way to check for noises being the driver providing you don't run over yourself
