I don't understand what ran through her head accepting unless they told her that the men knew. In that case they exploited her identity and probably publicly shamed and embarassed her. If she agreed, she was also somewhat in the wrong because it also kinda makes the trans community look bad. But in countries like India and Pakistan and the middle eastern countries it's not something like in America where you see domestic violence from both sides. women are not the disciplinary. that's not to say they don't have their own authority but usually it all comes from the father. This this completely different culture we are talking about here and while I agree, you shouldn't be slapping anyone in the first place, there are underlying cultural differences that make this much worse than we are seeing.
