the fact that ymir didn't even live for herself in the end - she sacrificed herself to save not only the ones she loved but also her enemies. choosing bertholdt and reiner over historia - a completely selfless act. ymir's story is hella tragic and she's such a well written character...this is why she's one of my favourites. she's such a beautiful being and listening to this slowed version of her song just makes me wanna cry :')
for real, Ymir was literally Historia's opposite back then, she was a selfless girl pretending to be selfish while Historia pretended to be selfless while she was selfish, these two characters complete each other so well, love them both.
