a light shining through a window is generally considered a good omen and the fact that Maggie and mrs Thompson were talking is itself a good omen and when joe asked jane for Maggie's food she replied,but there was no harshness in her voice

Yes that is an important and a thoughtful point you make. The focus on the elder siblings is lost out because the story's protagonists are maggie and the couple.

Yes. More so, because they chose children who would be useful to them and were not interested in maggie's well-being. They did not even bother that the children did not say a proper goodbye to their sick sibling.

Do u think i need to by heart the complete lesson-Angel In Disguise....as i felt thay at some places..it does not make much sense to learn.....i am learnimg all lessons by heart so that i do not miss on key words
there is no need to learn any lesson by heart (in other words, mugging up) ... just know what are the specific words used for a character, a situation. that is all.

Their life had been dark , cold and miserable because Mrs.Thompson had nothing to love and care for and became so sore, irritable,vinegar tempered and self afflicting in the desolation of her woman’s nature .The sweetness of the sick child looking ever to her in love ,peace and gratitude was as honey to her soul and she carried her in heart as well as in her arms, a precious burden.

Sir in the part 14.15 'the poor wheelwright' is that said because he was childless or he was poor from the view of his earnings? I am asking as a reference has been done about the meal which Maggie got doesn't seem to be Thompson poor. Please reply sir.

And the light shining through a window is generally considered a good omen because it indicate that his wife Jane Thompson might be their taking care of the little girl.
