His swing is so “swipey” out to in, he’s gonna fade the ball 100% of the time, that’s why he has so much spin. Putting him in a low spin 3-wood only accentuates the miss to the right. The lower spin the head, the more open it sits/more fade bias it is. His best/straightest shots were with the X. Almost all of his shots with anything but the X was 20-30 yards right, no bueno. You’re trying to hit a certain yardage to gap his clubs, he seems like a semi-high handicapper he should more be interested in keeping the ball in play down the middle. I think he should play the X in Neutral/Draw to start with then try +1/Draw and +2/Draw. When you go +1 and +2 it also closes the face as you go up in loft. One of those 3 settings is his best bet for a straighter ball flight. And he should try hitting a lower spinning shaft. He’s got there a HZRDUS Silver that’s a higher flight higher spinning shaft, maybe try a lower fligh lower spinning shaft like a HZRDUS Black. And if you add a 1/2” to the shaft like you suggested it may add a bit of length and play a tad more upright. That’s just what I think🤷🏼♂️ But thanks for the video I like watching different takes fitters use to manipulate ball flight due to different swings.
Honestly…. The gent needs some lessons to correct the common, but fatal swing flaws. Perhaps lessons and practice this season, then a fitting leading into next season.
Good insight but in this case there is a bit more to the story. Jeff does cut across it but at times his path will neutralize a bit. On that day he hadn’t hit a ball for weeks and knowing his tendencies I was trying to plan for more golf knowing his path will change. That’s the advantage of knowing someone’s game and seeing before a fitting. The lesson here is to pay attention to your tendencies (all of them) and share them with your fitter. Before and after. A good fitter won’t just fit the player that shows up that day but also try to build in some rope up or down for change. In regards to shafts he ended up in Fuji TR Blue

@@brentmeister1072 I gotta agree with you here, there's gotta be an old adage somewhere regarding an employee fitting the boss. 17:30 he even mentioned the word "straight" lol. Terrible position to be in, tell your boss, on camera, "hey how about we get you a couple lessons?".
I ordered a new custom 7 iron from Calloway last week and it came in really fast but when I got the club out of the box it had a big crack down the middle of the shaft

I play a Mavrik 3 + I can blast that 235 yds love me some Mavrik. How different are the Paradymes from mine?
Paradym will be a little easier to launch
