I have wasted so many materials trying to do this on a raft I'm under the impression it doesn't work on raft or I'm missing a step I get stuck on the triangle supports
Hey I dunno if you’ll reply but I’m struggling to do the very front second floor of the boat because it says I’m too far away from the raft how did you get round this
Could you get me a time stamp please? I’ve recently been messing around with boats a lot more and actually found out that if you build boats in shallow waters (like my latest video) you can go all the way to 12 foundations long. Idk why like but arks often broken lol) so maybe this can help you. But if you could lmk what time you’re stuck at I’ll try my best to help. (This was my first ever video so it’s not the greatest edit unfortunately)
Awesome work! I'd love to see what kind of ships you can make with expanded raft limits :) The gold trim on the railings is a nice touch! Maybe add doorways for where you put the cannons on the inside so the gunners have a bit of sight outside too?
Thank you! And good idea! I’m not sure how to make the boat bigger as I am on Xbox and whenever I tried to extend it I would get the “Too far away from platform” message. I know on PC you can change the settings
@@KS9Channel ah yes, if you're in single player on console or on a server you don't control - you can't change it. But there is a radius limit that can be expanded with a simple edit to a game file.
I made one of these, although it’s a lot uglier. Just got back I to the game and the ship is just a starter one, but I do wanna make it look nice later. Still trying to figure out where and what I want my permanent base to be.
When loading in a world go to advanced in settings. And scroll until you see “Increase Platform Structure limit” put the bar to maximum (highest number) or just type in something like “99999999” etc so it’s basically unlimited. This means you can build as much as you want on any platform.
I, for some reason, can't build this boat. Whenever I place a triangle ceiling, it will not let me place a foundation underneath it. no matter if it's on land or on the boat. I'm on xbox
The foundations should attach to the ceilings that’s weird. All my builds are on Xbox too, so I know it definitely works on console. Are you on single player or dedicated?? Or official? If single player or dedicated make sure the terrain clip setting is turned in incase that effects it along with platform structure limit increased to max. Hopefully that works

Hi excuse me, but there is an entire section of the video you just skipped over. Including how you were able to place that pillar in the back to begin the back mast. I have no idea how to put the pillar there now. When you make a video like this, you can't jump and expect everyone to know how you did it.
So I have just spent some time watching and do you mean at 03:40 where it looks like the videos skips? I’ve literally just noticed this after about 4 months lol. Sorry this was my first ever video before I knew I liked doing this so it was recorded using Xbox clips lmao. How to do it- So you get a wooden pillar and you snap it onto the middle triangle ceiling that I place at 01:25. I hope this helps. In the future when I get more time I might completely redo this video now I have a lot more experience with recording/ edits lol. Thank you tho I didn’t even know this happened! If you need any help let me know! :)
I’m not sure unfortunately. You can only have 135 structures on a motorboat so I would assume no unfortunately :( I wish the devs would increased this on official because it would be cool to use it on official.
Not sure this design will work on ASA. ASA building is very different however I plan on trying to do a ASA version in the future. That being said you need to increase the platform structure limit in advanced settings before loading into a world.

Tried to build this on ASA and after 4 mins it said I had reached the limit on structures...
