Absolutely loved it! It's fun seeing the boys having a chance to just joke, call BS, and flame each other again. Really hope these classic episodes keep popping up, and love how Ben's statistically best deck wasn't as strong as he hyped it up to be. Great work dude!
I was about to fall asleep after celebrating my birthday but I saw this popped up on my subscription notice. I’m so glad that I can end the night well after watching my favorite UA-cam series.
Classic adventure. No lore, story or complications. Just 4 mates playing commander and fucking around with each other. While i do enjoy the story you just can't beat the classic episodes and their simple but fun set ups. Keep up the good work mate.
Warning, this is a weird theory I came up with. I didn’t cite the evidence I used so take what I say with a grain of salt, but I hope you find some enjoyment out of it. Joe is an Eldrazi. Brandon constantly calls Joe the “Husk” which is weird, because if they were split personalities or if Joe were a normal person that Brandon was inhabiting, “Husk” would be weird terminology, something more fitting to an Eldrazi drone. Joe is weirdly able to talk to Brandon/knows he's there on some level like in the movie or at the start of season 2 showing that Joe has a level of knowledge of his existence. Brandon is shown to use Green and black Mana but chooses an Eldrazi deck, while Joe uses Chaderfang which is a green/black commander, but hides his Eldrazi deck (This is a stretch but it could show a weird inverse between their abilities). He also gets weirdly angry when the group mentions his Eldrazi deck, extremely uncharacteristically angry, almost like he or something else doesn't want them to have that association. It’s been confirmed from Commander Legends that Eldrazis can form their own identity like Zhulodok showing that some Eldrazi can make their own identities from the three titans. Along with this when Joe is sleeping during the tournament he enters a scape of unquantifiable space, another stretch but this could be linked to Ulamague and their Ceaseless hunger. Joe is also old, remembering wizards and he knows elvish which is seemingly separate from Brandon's knowledge, it's interesting that there are Elves on Zendikar. I think that after Brandon beat Dagoth he left for Zendikar to try and harness its power by stealing the Khalni Heart (An interesting idea considering he was the one to re-curse Ob-Nixilis and Ob tried to do the same). However, I believe Brandon was stopped by Nahiri, Ugin, and Sorin. Unable to contain his immense power they sealed him within Joe. Joe was made by all three Titans mostly likely as a sleeper agent that could change shape and infiltrate the mortal population to help release the Eldrazi from their prison (Hence why he’s always sleepy). However, when Brandon got sealed within Joe, he was altered by Branden and became biologically or magically less Eldrazi. Ugin left them alive to study, and eventually Joe might have awakened a spark making it to our earth but forgetting how to planeswalk (like he forgets most things). I know a lot of this is a stretch, but like a sleeper agent Eldrazi planeswalker Joe would be a cool plot twist ok. For those who made it this far, I hope you enjoyed my crazy ramblings, and have a good day!
Do you think Joe would play the new Secret Lair Raining Dongs and Cats Commander deck? He got that dawg In him, and know he’s all about getting some cat.
I wanna see the boys play decks based around the Transformers cards and I know who'd play which Donald - Megatron, Tyrant Ben - Soundwave, Sonic Spy Obama - Cyclonus, the Saboteur Joe - Optimus Prime, Hero
@Sjbninja Hey man its me again. I was wondering if you could use my eldrazi deck for obama next episode if they are playing casuals like in this video. If not, then I understand and I hope you keep up the awesome work.
Nice break from the epic adventure story. But when will the subsequent how to play videos be coming out? I thought they held promise for teaching new players.
ngl, as someone who has all 4 of those decks they are all good in their own rights buuuuuuut The Merfolk deck has the strongest set-up out of them. Dino's require a ton of mana and you only get the commander trigger once per turn without Flicker shenanigans. Pirates can do alot but requires time and set up. The Vampires require a sacrifice engine to get rolling. The Merfolk deck? Just play simic shenanigans and you win
BEN HAS PANTS!!! Therefore, regardless of outcome Ben wins. Because he has Pants, and Pants is the best Commander. Just look at how happy he is. How can you guys not love a happy, stompy, Dino?😂 Sorry, the Dino deck reignited my love for the game. I love playing Dinos again. Sure beats playing Zacama as a Commander 😂
While the movie was super awesome full of action and suspense it is kind of nice just to have one of these laid back at the table in the basement and Videos
Awwwww back to the classic of relaxing and enjoyable fun keep up the amazing work like always presidents here's my Spiecal Love and Happiness Hearts you deserve them~ 🤍>w
This feels like the older episodes. God that was a trip down memory lane.
I love it.
Massive dub to Joe’s Tyranid Squirrel Elves, what a gamer
don't forget his weird
I still have no idea where to put this on the timeline...
Yes.
I imagine sideboard adventures like ovas so not officially canon
I'd like to think this is a few days before the tournament
It’s a different Timeline.
I'd say just after the movie, right before Joe finds the one ring
Merfolk is straight up beast mode. Best $40 precon I’ve seen.
This video doesn't lie, the merfolk precon is fuckin stacked
Still prefer the Blood Rites precon personally, but yes, I agree that the Merfolk deck is powerful
Nothing beats a classic episode 👌
I love Donald opening with, 'Maaan!'
It's somehow comforting
Always enjoy a surprise drop! Here's to 2024 for you and your channel!
Wonderful to have more classic gameplay episodes, especially glad that this one focuses on my favorite plane! :D
the "since the movie" part had me laughing
Let's go! More MTG presidents are always welcome!
The boys should play with the commander master precon
I think Joe should have a merfolk deck fulltime
Honestly the forgetting the name joke didn't get old and the Weird one made me laugh
Absolutely loved it! It's fun seeing the boys having a chance to just joke, call BS, and flame each other again. Really hope these classic episodes keep popping up, and love how Ben's statistically best deck wasn't as strong as he hyped it up to be. Great work dude!
A nice mellow, no stakes game of magic between the boys. As much as I love the story youve built so far, I can still appreciate the side stuff. 10/10
I freaking love your channel bro!
Statistically speaking, this is peak fiction
I was about to fall asleep after celebrating my birthday but I saw this popped up on my subscription notice. I’m so glad that I can end the night well after watching my favorite UA-cam series.
Nothing like a return to classic form for a holiday treat (well a classic episode and a movie) Thanks for all the hard work you've been putting in
9:45 , that was hilarious XDDDD, sad but hilarious
Classic adventure. No lore, story or complications. Just 4 mates playing commander and fucking around with each other. While i do enjoy the story you just can't beat the classic episodes and their simple but fun set ups. Keep up the good work mate.
My body wasn't ready for a mtg vid @_@ good vid
You absolute Madlad! First you release that extremely good Movie and now this haha :D You rock dude!
5:35 “this tyranid” is such a nice subtle reference
This was awesome to wake up to this morning. Gets me anxious to play my lord of tresslehorn deck tonight
I wanna see these folks play with the Doctor Who decks
You know, Saphiro playing Missy is very accurate considering Saphiro could be a reincarnation of the Master
Genuinely love Vamps and Dinos. Dinos are pretty damn good under the new Precon Mander, and the new Vampire Support lowkey super charges Edgar Markov
Why does Obama always pick the commander decks I want to play? Great minds think alike
Lolol. The timeliness of the jokes though.
Had me going from Black Market Connections, and that mechanic is IRL lore accurate too 😂😂😂
Man WOTC should sponsor you
It’s nice to see the boys get back to there roots 🍻❤
Coming in clutch after a long day of driving. Thanks for the entertainment dude.
Yeah Ben isnt kidding the Dinosaur deck alone is very pricey.
This is so specific but that just makes it better
Absolutely great stuff!

The boys make me want to play magic again...its been so long and these cards look so cool.
Love the casual precon vids
The Baki drop at the end got me good 😂
love it, it makes me think how they might do with the doctor who set of pre-cons
I love that they finally have a moment to play.
It just amazes me that Dire Fleet Ravager just casually does that.
What a surprise! I literally JUST walked in from my lgs picking up the Clavileno precon
Awww, now I wanna see the boys play a Lorcana pod. But wait for set 3.
Thanks for tha fun side quest episode
I love the precon episodes, I like seeing what the decks do without actually getting them. Also Donald is right, pirates stay on top
These seem like a great idea. A series of non-canon episodes just to have fun with the characters.
Classic episodes rule! I know you put a lot of heart and work into the movie, but I prefer these truth be told
Big shout out for having Joe say BOLLOCKS!
Simic outresourcing everyone, a tale as old as time.
Shit, Joe made a movie ref?? Looks like I gotta go rewatch it now
Good video maybe play the commander masters precons?
Side Adventures? LETS GOOOOOOOOO
I love these videos
From this video I learned that pirate deck is best deck since 3 players targeted donald
Do you think Joe would play the new Secret Lair Raining Dongs and Cats Commander deck? He got that dawg In him, and know he’s all about getting some cat.
I wanna see the boys play decks based around the Transformers cards and I know who'd play which
Donald - Megatron, Tyrant
Ben - Soundwave, Sonic Spy
Obama - Cyclonus, the Saboteur
Joe - Optimus Prime, Hero
11:37 Actually, discovery won't let you do that, since From the Rubble has too high a CMC to cast.
Did Joe just called Obama a Barraki like the bionicle one?😂
@Sjbninja Hey man its me again. I was wondering if you could use my eldrazi deck for obama next episode if they are playing casuals like in this video. If not, then I understand and I hope you keep up the awesome work.
This is great, especially since the Fallout set is dropping in a couple months and it'd be criminal for the boys not to play it
Gotta replay fallout to write new jokes
Nice break from the epic adventure story. But when will the subsequent how to play videos be coming out? I thought they held promise for teaching new players.
Notification Gang
Wholesome!
It's 1:18am I was about to go to sleep

Merfolk really does slap
Merfolk are fucking crazy good and they go super hard.
"in the game joe, in the game"
HAHAHAHAHAHA
So is this going to be a separate thing or is it almost like the pre-release of season 3 also very excited for the Halloween mystery
I so want to see an episode where they play planechase with the doctor who decks
Oh my God yessss
Good ol classic game, yay!
Also my god Simic value train strikes again
If you’re looking for another celebrity, maybe Chris Pratt using the new Jurassic world cards on a Dino deck? I’d love to see it!
oh shit wasnt ready for this.
I miss these old style episodes.
More Dino decks please!
BEN HAS PANTS!!! Therefore, regardless of outcome Ben wins. Because he has Pants, and Pants is the best Commander. Just look at how happy he is. How can you guys not love a happy, stompy, Dino?😂
Sorry, the Dino deck reignited my love for the game. I love playing Dinos again.
Sure beats playing Zacama as a Commander 😂
While the movie was super awesome full of action and suspense it is kind of nice just to have one of these laid back at the table in the basement and Videos
Joe still remembers
Do you even rest Ninja?
Yes
The best ones were the merfolk, holy hell they moved quick. This entire duel was accurate.
❤❤❤❤❤
Please make another one
Good vid
Let's fukin go boys
you know gotta give ben some credit, he didn't play a deck with some blue in it
You have to reveal the card you explore
One day these four are seriously gonna play yugioh
Wooooooo
Dinos are cool
Obama forgrtting every vampire isnt Edgar. W for Joe and damn Ben how the hell do you jot use dinosaur right.
Come onnnnnnnnnn doctor who decks
Haha oblivious Biden is the only one who can see through the 4th wall. . .
This series has got me wishing for a Ben Shapiro presidency
First
Why is Ben Shapiro always in these😂
Why can’t i comment anymore
Awwwww back to the classic of relaxing and enjoyable fun keep up the amazing work like always presidents here's my Spiecal Love and Happiness Hearts you deserve them~ 🤍>w
I like to put Liliana contract in vampire precon cause of the wincon
