Thanks for watching. I have tested 1000m but due to the 155gr bullet's low BC and exit velocity, the maximum distance is 800m for a reasonable hit. Sure, I can shoot at 1000 m, but then the target has to be as big as a car to be able to hit. The wind drift and elevation is enormous at 1000m. If I'm going to stick with a .308 at 1000m, I have to use a longer barrel, heavier bullets and harder loads and preferably a rifle with a manual repeater. / Karl
@@reconhippy8352 I have only shot at 1 mil size metal target with light flashing hit sensor. But that is a relatively large target. I have hit 0.5 mil metal targets at 600m and 700m.
Hi, My reloading data. Bullet, 155 gr Barnes match burner Powder, 44 gr N140 Speed 820 m/s. Maximum distans is 800 m with this rifle, barrel length and reloading.
Nice to hear. The MR308 is one of my favorites. But the original trigger was a disaster so it replaced. Waffen Burk is a german manufacturer, good quality and good products.
yea its waffenburk, I have the same one and i guess its the way to go, tho after shooting it a few times the gasblock gets full of sud and when you change the settings they dont click into place so you have to check twice. the original hk would be nicer but its so hard to get one

Got my MR308 a couple of days ago, also got the adjustable gas valve ( Waffen Burk ?) and a Steiner optic, need to test it real soon 😊
