I was one of them ppl who kept driving, because the error msg was a little different... shut off the engine and check OIL LEVEL.. and I was right after a damn service so I knew there was enough oil !!! Few weeks later 'the beeping' got worse.. I should prob sell it now?

I’m getting a p164d00 code and p0341 but have no idling issues the warning light that comes on says “switch off engine and check oil level” but the car has brand new oil and when I check mmi it’s completely wrong I have 5 quarts in it but it says I’m on like empty. So I think I have a sensor issue more than motor problem
@iNSTAGiB oh yea i fixed it!, basically needed an oil pump. i did a oil psi test and was sitting at like 3 psi at idle. which is not good at all. found out the oil “sump” was full of timing pieces so therefore no oil was getting into motor. but it’s fixed now i got lucky
@@coryjackson6034 not sure if you were meaning to tag him instead of me but yeah i sold it after i got it running good, but with the prev owner he jumped timing and all the components were sitting in the oil screen of the sump causing it to clog up so i’m sure there was a ton of pieces in the pump hence why i replaced it.
Don’t ignore the other faults, I can clearly see that the oil separator pressure breather valve is leaking and that will cause excessive vacuum in engine and literally suck your oil to the top of the engine. Your problem was the breather valve
It does apply in some occasions but not in this case the oil pressure muched the spec before replacing the brether valve after replacing the engine oil pump, sir.

Tengo el codigo p164b ya cambie el sensor azul, el cafe, el selenoide de presion de aceite, la valvulacheck que va debajo del filtro, ya no se que mas hacer es un audi a5 2.0l tfsi 2011, el mensaje que me sale es no pasar de las 4,000 rpm y el epc
lo más seguro que el árbol de levas variable esté desgastado y fuga la presión por la punta donde agarra la base de enfrente y por eso no deja revolucionar a más de 4k me pasa lo mismo y mi árbol de levas está desgastado por ahí
i have the same problemwith VW Passat 2013, i changed the engine oil, oil pressure switch, as well as oil pressure pump also but after driving 10 min. red light comes up with beep sound.
Thanks it was my fix was the oil pressure sensor at top by oil filter, easy work !

@iNSTAGiB that makes no sense...was it blocked from timing pieces or was it a bad oil pump??
