I just came here from the Khanyi Mbau interview. Isn't it sad that in June 2020 we're still having this conversation about femicide? What needs to happen for enough to be enough?
It's still gonna be had 10 years from now; coz it's something that built up for decades and decades - it won't take a switch to switch it off unfortunately
Yey like i always draw my own conclusions of what kind of people these celebs are but through Mac G its like they always prove me wrong... not that i judge them but its an image i create in my head
As much as we want the fun and crazy conversations m glad you guys took this angle with Sizwe especially at this moment in our country we definitely have to hear what others think, great job guys
I honestly have a different perspective on Sizwe.... I thought he was a just a pompous, Mr know it all on Twitter but guy really has substance... Seems like a nice person too.... Nice interview guys. ❤
So far I've listened to 29:08. The gist of the conversation I pick up is that like life there's no immediate solutions. Also in our curiosity it's important not to take things at face value. On the education front I'll speak on my experience. Primary is a critical foundation for the rest of your life in how you deal with education. Plus trying to keep up with first word or even metropolitan ways of teaching does not afford those who don't have the same understanding. This conversation is a real complex one with no definitive solution but one we can only come up with in discussions. We may not always agree but we'll always learn from our different prospectives to reach an understanding.
Sizwe is so disciplined!!! he doesn't drink, he's financially wise, he does not do shit that doesn't bring home money and he wants to make babies when he is married 🤗🤗🤗
Can we just get Sizwe and Vusi Thembekwayo in a room if not for anything else but get them to drop us their creative juices...this is the kind of dialogue we need!
If SD and VT would be given a task to come with a strategy to grow the economy of this beautiful country called South Africa , Sizwe will win. I love them both but I will have to bet my money on SD.
@@bikosankara7417 I beg to differ. I'd bet my money on Vusi simply because I followed him enough to trust him. I'm new to Sizwe - but I'll check him out more, just to see why you trust him this much. So far, not bad. But Vusi is still a Lion!
I agree with Sizwe, the current government's mandate was to liberate us from the previous power. We have to take this forward as the younger generation of this country, we cannot depend on them... True Sizwe!!!
@@ELLIOT8209 easy example, you walk down the street as a woman a man tries to get your attention , you ignore him, he grabs your hand thats abuse, someone forcing themselves in your space because they trying to get your attention ignoring that you are not interested....like I sad Sizwe articulated it very well because he is good with words.....but its that feeling of not liking what is being done but not have the powers to stop it, and man do this randomly a lot and they don't acknowledge that it is abuse.
@@LihleM1 and it's done because fuckers feel they got power over you and sadly they are "powerful" because a man has strength over a woman . Our world full of unfairness and hierarchy.
As refreshing as this interview is, it certainly changed my perspective of Sizwe however, I feel I was left wanting to know him, we didn’t get to know Sizwe the Man we just got to know Sizwe’s intellectual.
By far one of the best celebrity episodes, it was educational, financial literacy, insightful and intriguing... Big ups for having Lenn on this episode too, well done guys!!!
This is one of the best interviews EVER! I have watched this three times already. The one thing I love about MacG, Lenn and Sizwe is their authenticity. I love how genuine you guys are. Thanks a lot for the podcast Mac, it's really appreciated. 👌🏾
I know the rivalry between Sizwe and Vusi Thmebkwayo might impede my wish from being granted, but I would like to add Vusi Thembekwayo to your list, and I would like to have all of them in the same room. 🤔🌱🔥🙆🏾
Also @macg when you share the stuff on social media the controversial stuff gets the attention but the education stuff creates followers as an alternative. Really like the growth you guys have had
I remember pointing a VHS camera lens at you and directing you for my assisgnment at Natal Technikon. I was a young student doing Video-Tech. We shot an amature Fanta 'Share the Fun' Advert, and the year must have been 2000. After 20 years you're still that humble Sizwe. This is a Shoutout to you! Am proud of your growth. Stay Blessed my brother.
I would have a lengthy and very formative conversation with Sizwe because the way he processes and receives information and how he interprets it is very very articulate and the issue of education in the country is excellent I'd also would talk to him about the health system cause am part of the team or people who trying to bring change into the health system
This is a great interview... can I ask, where does the youth meet up and just come up with solutions??... So much talk AND demonstration of knowledge of almost everything on social media yet we don't see any post like "youth let's meet at dada dada" no political party just youth... Ain't we just tired of buying data so we can view this interviews and get the knowledge and just sit with it and the solutions???
Amazing!! Mac G, you’re GOAT level on SA podcast content after this. Looking over 2020 and where we are on all of these issues as a country is still relevant..meaning NOTHING’s changed! In fact it’s worse! Congratulations on capturing this when you did.🙏🏽🙌🏽
I appreciate this Mac but wow, you short changed us. I wanted to know relationships, friendships, social status. I wanted to know where he buys his water.
MacG your interviews are gold , love them too bits!Informative and thought provoking ,we as in the youth needed.Keep up the good , listen don't underestimate the impact that all this has on people👌
this conversation could have been uploaded in June of 2020, and nothing would be irrelevant. GBV is still relevant, inequality is still relevant kuyoze kube nini?
This interview reminded me to get my ass back into social media now that I am a Chief Engineer and working in USA...... Thanks guys this was more insightful and just enjoyable....... Maybe I should sponsor you as well 🤔🙄🕺

Sizwe's level of unbotheredness is praiseworthy honestly
The fact that Sizwe says “that’s funny” instead of actually laughing 😂

This was a great interview, very deep concerning stuff...I wish Sizwe can be brought back for another session...
Appreciate that Sizwe acknowledged his positionality in this conversation and that he isn't an authority on this.
