I love the backing tracks. Now to find backing videos to go with the backing tracks I use when playing/improvising. Thank you, Jonny, for all of this. I have these downloaded. And I LOVE improvising using all of them. I also have your other back tracking music in the various keys since I have a few flutes - not nearly as many as you do of which is VERY impressive. Maybe one of these days I will get about half of what you have. LOL I play in an Orchestra so my one room is full of various instruments to include my NA flutes, etc.
You are very welcome and I'm happy to hear that they are enhancing your flute playing! I just recently released a couple of new options to expand your choices. Free Spirit Nature Sounds and Nature Sounds with Ambient Pads: www.jonnylipfordmusic.com/collections/native-american-flute-backing-tracks
I've actually got the physical CD of this collection and it is a blast to play with these rhythms--it can really help you get out of a rut, or come up with new song ideas. I also have the digital download of your A and E Free Spirit backing tracks and use those the same way. Thank you for including the bpm for each track as it really helps when writing/recording my own background rhythms once I've come up with an idea using your tracks.
Thanks Jonny. This will be 'mind-stretching' for me - developing melodies with 'free play' is something I want to develop. When I try to free-play, or improvise, it mostly sounds confused and not tied together....
Improv isn't always just shooting from the hip. In many cases when I duet or improv, I have a rough idea in my head before I attack it. I will keep testing different things until something sticks. :)
WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! love this to dance with
Enjoy! That works too! Now, maybe dance with a flute. 😆
✌💖&THX!

Jonny, Thank you again. I love listening to you. Wish i was there.
Thanks, Ken! Hope all is well!
Great idea! The tracks are unique and fun!
Yessir! Quite fun to play along with, especially if flute players struggle to keep rhythm. :)
Bravo

YES! That's great to hear and exactly why I created them ... to liberate one's ability while playing!
Love this
