Glad I finally got it done and that it helped you but I see others got the help they needed with the lace punch cards also. I meant to get to this over the winter but it was hard for me to get this machine out with more requests on the bulky but I pushed myself for this. Berda
Forgot to mention, you can get some designs already for the lace carriage machineknittingetc.com/catalogsearch/result/?order=date&dir=desc&q=lace but be careful of the studio ones, only if the studio mentions "Fashion Lace" will work on the brother machines but the Plain Lace you may have some problems with. Berda
Different machines come in different prices, the problem I see today and not so much a decade or two ago, is some get machines at a sale someplace for pennies, then they look up online and see the newer models selling for a grand or so, and then they put their listing up too high. But keep your eyes open, you never know when you can get a good deal.
Check your card reader to see if there is any lint or dust in it. You may have to take the back cover off to look good. I wouldn't blow that one as it has many things under the bed to select certain needles and you would just blow that into the bottom part. But if you have one of those long cleaning brushes, then you can try it. Or take something to try and get it out.
