      @MarineCorpsSergeantTollens Рік тому +1

      @Bet Mulligan, blood transfer is because you have Roy's blood on your jacket. You sit in the back and it rubs off onto the upholstery.
      Gunshots will leave highspeed blood spatter on anything close by.
      Maybe someone took off their coat or were up close and personal doing the work. Also how Joe Pesci was killed in Goodfellas actually happens. Shoot someone in the head with a big gun and you get that water fountain effect from the exit wound. That's why they wrapped a towel around Gemini Club victims. To not have that fountain of blood gushing out all over the place.

    RIP Son Albert DeMeo. He committed suicide because of his PTSD resulting from dealing with Roy’s crap. His Pop gets whacked, the NYCPD and NCPD hound him because of who his Dad is. The Gemini Twins seriously injured him in a car crash. Then MM comes out and he gets spotlighted on the floor of a Wall Street stockbroker, where he was working as a trader.
    Too much to deal with and it overwhelmed him.

    The one thing they never reported was the $300,000 in cash Roy always had in the trunk in case he had to flee. Also the car radio was attached to a tape recorder he put in which recorded all conversations in the car. My guess look for a retired detective who moved to Florida right after the body was found.

    An excellent way to discover the probable home address of people from the past, whether your personal and family past or interesting people you read about in books, is using old phone books. I've done this researching people from Toronto, Canada and the old phone books for Toronto are available on the Internet Archive and until the 1970s they included the person's profession in many cases. I think most major cities in North America have these old phone books available for research in the public libraries.

    I've been trying to find a UA-cam video I watched back in 2010 that claims he was actually whacked inside the Gemini Lounge because that was the only place he would have went and not felt suspicious of what might be to come.

    DeMeo was not a gangster, he was a serial killer. To sit eating pizza with a freshly killed body exsanguinating a few feet away is as sick as it gets. Ironic that a family member, also named Dimaio[spelled a bit different], was chief medical examiner in Manhattan. Dont worry about a couple critics.

    In Al's book, he implies at the end that Joey and Anthony told Capeci how the death of Roy went down, admitting they had a part in it along with Nino (Who couldn't finish Roy off). Is that correct? I was under the assumption that twins haven't said a word about any crimes to anyone. Why would Al say that? Would love your opinion on this.

    • @nyccrimespot
      @nyccrimespot  3 місяці тому +1

      He may have said it as a slight to them to possibly paint them in a bad light. Or a worse light I should say. I have never heard any acknowledgment from them in regard to this. Why would they admit that? Furthermore, I am in the camp that Nino was not even there, but that’s just my opinion. I try to think about the family the twins joined up with after(Lucchese) and the characters they were around. If you ponder who these characters are then it may make sense that they were present for the homicide. They would do this in order to protect the twins and make sure things got done correctly so that they can switch families.

    • @UrbanFawn17
      @UrbanFawn17 3 місяці тому

      @@nyccrimespot Appreciate your insight. Makes sense that Nino most likely wasn't there; Al's book painted it as history repeating itself with Roy taking out chris...to Nino taking out Roy. Were the twins aligning themselves with the Lucchese fam even before Roy was killed? The narrative I'm used to is that the Gambinos saw them as uncontrollable and wanted them off their hands. Love your channel!!!!!!

    So Joey's brother gets whacked where he and Anthony, whacked Roy? Crazy. If only they had a shed of loyalty. Roy was answer to any problems they could face, yet being made overruled that. When I watch the barbecue footage. I can't help being aware of how treacherous Joey comes across. Roy comes across as ' I don't wanna see myself ' I'm heavy but he shows Freddy friendship in the moment, but Joey scoffing down food looking side to side before saying ' fuck you ' waving hos hands in the air. Smoking with gusto. Just makes me think Roy should have got rid of him before....well what he did to him. I honestly believe you can judge a person on how they consume food in your presence.
