Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts. I feel the same way. So much financial hardship surrounding the passing of loved ones…doing research now! 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Varies from state to state and down to your specific county if they will allow it. You have to have a real funeral with a casket head stone everything and it has to be a certain distance from other homes. Highly unlikely that they would allow this in a more urban area or if you have an HOA or anything like that you would probably have to live in a more rural area. It can't just be you spreading someone's ashes you have to have a casket burial with a headstone or a mausoleum. And if you ever wanted to sell the property, good luck because your property would be declared a cemetery and nobody is going to want to buy a property with your granny buried on it plus would be a lot of restrictions on what they could do with the property.
Hello Jessica, appreciate you bringing this information to light, are there any supporting government authorized documents we can read regarding this topic?
Thanks! There was part of me that did not believe that this was true. I have a box with my father’s ashes in it, and didn’t know what to do with it until I heard about this.
I used to love playing "Oregon Trail" in elementary school on the original floppy disk, the ACTUAL floppy disks, not the smaller square hard plastic ones. Anyways, I ALWAYS died of "Dysentery" 😂😢.

Definitely look it up in your own state. I found information for California on the BOE website.

Definitely do your own research in your own state to see the details. I was surprised but it makes sense.
Would you happen to know the kind of zoning code you would need to make your own family cemetery?
@@Three_little_pinecones27 definitely look 👀 up the info for your own state.

Wow that’s tragic! I remember playing that game in elementary school as well.
I wonder how true this is

California BOE 265
What about scatterring ashes from a creamation?
I am a lot of things, but I am not a legal expert. Each state is different, so look up the rules in your own state.
@@jessicaclaraaguilar i found that yes Cremation remains in a vault will count. Although how does one go about getting a tax exemption....hmm
What about a cremated body
Can I have pet cemetery? 😂
I guess. I am a mom but I’m not your mom. So whatever floats your boat I suppose!
Can an animal be a loved one? Don't worry, I'm not malicious, natural death.
this video is all over the place yet nowhere.
