My son is 13 and he got in his first fight at school long story short he was defending himself the other boy had been tormenting him and my 11 year old daughter for about 3 months and he stood up for them both, granted he got kicked out if school for 5 days but I'm not mad because he stood up and said yes I did it and no I'm not sorry. He explained himself and the other boy got kicked out if our school for the rest of the year. My son was applauded by the other kids. But like in this song (which is one of his faves) he stood up and didn't run from it. I am very proud of him for this.
