When you were talking about how some areas you’re quick with obedience, but then some areas are not, and I TRULY felt that. Stop lying? Ok. Don’t murder? Ok. Don’t watch bad shows/movies? Ok. ‘But then don’t be a people pleaser’ is responded with silence..,’stop maladaptive daydreaming because it’s an idol’ is met with silence. It’s easy to trust God and be obedient when everything’s going good, but when things take a turn He’s looking at how I will respond to my temptations and desire, and how you will too.
i fell short last night with a constant sin that i have been doing well with stopping. please pray for me that i quit all of my habitual sins and that i start feeling a stronger sense of conviction.
I felt like my obedience brought misery to my life. It's strange that you can become free from such things but not feel happy. God does bring a comforter, I remember when I use to drink your reminder of quick obedience. I was driving home with my friend and sister, shouldn't have been on the road. I felt God telling me to go towards the right lane so I did. A car from the other side of the road came speeding down where we were originally at and crashing into the intersection. I remember that day a lot. I didn't change immediately from that day but just looking back He has spoken to me, even when I feel like I don't hear his instructions today. I pray for everyone here trying to following the example of Christ. That He is always with us even in good or bad days. Theres a reason we all gave our lives to Christ...never forget.
@kelvinazord8788 oh gotcha! I think so too, I get myself into overthinking and then doubt myself. Like, I have to be more confident in the Holy Spirit and His Word but sometimes I feel like the answers I want aren't cut and dry in the Bible
I feel this comment so much @kelvinazord8788. I’m struggling with that miserable feeling. I’m so thankful, as God has blessed and freed me from so many things. I cannot imagine where I would be if he didn’t. However, my flesh desires and yearns for the past and try to trick me into thinking I was more free then because I got to “do what I want.” It’s such a hard battle. Something I struggle with daily with frustration at times.
Please pray that I may fully surrender to the Lord and let go of this relationship that I’ve been hanging onto that isn’t good for me and He is asking me to let go of. Not my will but His will be done, Amen I know He works everything out for our good. I’m just having a hard time letting him go😢🙏🏼

Please pray for me as i struggle with the spirit or lust & a spirit of vengeance to my wrongdoers. I have struggled in those areas for YEARS & the results have shown up in my life negatively time & time again. I put an effort to change & i do believe both are intertwined with a struggle of self control. Which lead me to this very video. Needing to strengthen my Obedience to my Creator in the areas he needs me to submit it but i have a seriously hard time with. As i said i love your videos (for the creator of this) and to everyone with a prayer life please do pray on my behalf id greatly appreciate it & will do the same.
The Lord led me to this message & can I just say this was suchhh a good message. I love how we refer back to the word and study as well as getting a word. Personally, I stopped smoking for 3 months then broke my streak and it got harder to deny my flesh, I recently smoked 2 times again and its like that door was open again but I don’t want to get back into old habits like old wine in new wine skins . Referring back on the word helps me have a clear and better understanding about what true submission and obedience is. Please keep doing these, the Holy Spirit is speaking through you! Hi, are you able to define what some common phrases that are used in the bible exactly mean? Sometimes I get confused cause i'm not sure as i'm just learning of the bible and everything in it. So far I have started with the Gospels. But Like fruit of the lips, I think thats fruit as in when you have gods fruit? but is that like the holy spirit or like speaking the good of God? When people say daily bread as well that one i'm a bit lost on. Thank youu, Im thankful God chose you for this podcast!
This might not be the ''correct'' answer but to me fruit of the lips is a very long explanation which I am not too sure if I can word it correctly but in short, anything from our lips, that does not bring or show the goodness of God, that is the opposite of bearing fruit?Also, DAILY BREAD can mean the literal bread [food] , our daily bread = our daily food and other earthly sustenance/blessings but to me, spiritual bread/food helps me more in terms of being a better Christian. So like.... the strength I get or the assurance I get from God or even Patience [cause Lord knows I need that lol] , anything to sustain me SPIRITUALLY throughout the day, that to me is my deeper understanding of daily bread. I hope this helps and would appreciate if others could add on. I'd love to hear different POVs
