How the times have changed. For starters no one can have a debate anymore w/some restraint which all parties in this debate showed. Both parties makes valid points. Both parties showed restraint and decorum.
Excellent, Mary, yes. Vigorous debate used to be something TV viewers genuinely enjoyed on shows like Donahue and Crossfire and many local ones. Viewers no longer tolerate opinions that differ from their own unless- like a token liberal on FOX or token right winger on CNN- it's set up to be cannon fodder.
The nuclear family is destroyed by the fact that wages no longer allow for a single salary to afford a house, a car, and three kids like it did back in the days the other people commenting here were working. Feminists are NOT the problem- women who choose to have a career instead of a family deserve a level playing field. People blaming feminism are looking for the answers they want to find. Do you really believe that young men these days aren't able to have the lifestyles men in the '70s had because "feminism"? That is absolute nonsense. Look at the real world sometime.
I learned of Phyllis Schlafly from one of Ann Coulter's books, and I couldn't be more delighted that I did. Here, she just effortlessly hits the mark every time she speaks. It doesn't even look like she is trying. Her arguments are very cogent, very efficient. Her delivery contains virtually no fillers or false starts. It's incredible how some people are able to do this. What a brilliant, brilliant woman.
Wow Betty was completely out of her league here. But for some reason, she’s the one put on the pedestal currently in liberal arts colleges for the Feminine Mystique. Now look at the current bathroom nonsense we have had graciously thrust upon us due to the trans trend.

We need more women like Phyllis Schlafly today in the spotlight who are well researched, intelligent, unafraid, and still kind while delivering such a message!
