Looks like a hybrid of fried cornbread and beignets.
Ive found a good way to avoid getting in a fight with plastic wrap is to leave it attached to the roll as you spread it over your bowl, then Rip it off. Keeps it from bunching up in most cases. Keeping a pair of scissors within reach helps too.
Some plastic wrap has a slide cutter which is much better than the old saw cutter.
Looks good! Going to give these a try.
A useful kitchenaid mixer tip: being the dough together with the paddle attachment then switch over to the dough hook to knead. The paddle mixes it up way faster!
Happy New Year!
That recipe definitely looks like a winner!
Mud - I've said it before during your live streams, you still have a career with that voice of yours!!! 😊
Looks good Mud! Tasty for sure!
If you have a lodge wok it’s ideal for frying things like this. The shape gives lots of surface area for things like donuts that float, and doesn’t require a gallon of oil like a Dutch oven would
Ooo I wanna make these!
All aboard the polar express. Hope the tempatures adjusted for you mud.
Hey Mudbrooker, just a tip for breaking eggs.. you want to crack the shell on a flat surface, NOT the edge of the bowl. cracking on a flat surface will leave the inner membrane in tact and hold all the shell pieces together. when you crack on an edge, you break the membrane, and bits of shell much more easily fall into the whites. basically, cracking on a flat surface decreases chance of getting shell bits in your eggs by like 99%!
Yum! These look delicious! I definitely have to make these! I also am going to make some cinnamon extract! That sounds so good!
Oh happy new year
Thanks for the video
Hope to try these soon, thanks
