The unfortunate thing is that sometimes doctors just don’t know what happens. My best friend started experiencing severe drops in heart rate and ended up going to the ER after several light headed spells. The doctors said they don’t even know how he walked in with how low his heart rate was. He’s an avid runner and skydiver and in fantastic shape yet he’s 35 and now has a permanent pacemaker. Doctors still don’t know what happened.
I suspect there is something in the modern diet or medicine that causes this as a side effect. We just haven't researched it enough. Or maybe a previous blow to the chest can cause cardiac muscle damage that goes undetected until...
He only said he didn't have any underlying issues and then explained what we saw on the pitch and what will be happening in the hospital. I think this is highly professional from sky to give people good information about something that might have shocked and scared a lot of people.

I have to commend everyone involved in this tragedy...but it's a bit concerning an experienced cardiologist would come out and appear to break doctor patient confidentiality by publicly sharing a patient's clinical data
I see your point, but I don't agree. First he might have given consent to share information. Secondly, he really didn't say anything beyond speculate what possibilities might have caused the event, which are the same for any young healthy athlete on the field (so nothing personal about the player). The only personal info he did give was that he had had cardiac investigations done which were normal. But you could already make that assumption because everyone gets them done, and if they were abnormal he wouldn't be playing.
No sharing of patient's clinical data; it is a given that nothing had been picked up on screenings, done by any medical professional involved in the player's assessments.
The footage is disturbing and shocking BUT...the reaction from everyone is cringe worthy. The ref and players reacted how 99.9 % of people wouldve reacted, you would need to be a psychopath to react any differently so no, they are not "heroes" and dont deserve special praise. You know the world is fucked up when someone gets held up as Mother Theresa for not laughing at a player having a heart attack. And the comments from people saying they were bawling their eyes out...cringe worthy, transparent, sickly, virtue signalling...self serving, "LOOK HOW MUCH I CARE, THIS IS HOW GOOD A PERSON I AM"...the social media generation out if full force doing what they do best.
The Christian Erickson incident leaves a lot of unanswered questions and I'm REALLY intrigued why no journalist worth their salt have followed up this incident. 1) Why is there a rule in Italy that a player cannot play with an ICD fitted? 2) When did this particular rule come in, to Serie A? 3) One must presume that an incident happened previously like this for them to bring in a rule like this?! 4) IF that IS the case, then who was 'player zero'? 5) IF there was a case, what happened to them? Did they survive or die? 6) Was there more than one player that suffered that made them bring in this rule? 7) Why isn't there a similar rule in the UK or in any other country? 8) I have a brother who has had an ICD fitted. He was advised to avoid ANY contact sport, in case an impact would push the ICD (remember, two wires are inserted directly into the heart) onto the heart and bursting an artery. 9) One must question IF Erickson has had an ICD implanted at all, and if his successful 'return' was a factor in 'normalising' heart attacks for the masses and that people could return to 'normality' after an apparent brush with death. 10) Despite so many people DYING of cardiac arrest, any link to the Va**ine has been overlooked or completely ignored. 11) It is my contention that this episode was staged. I predict that Erickson will be transferred to a higher profile Premier League club in the close season to ready him for the Qatar World Cup next season. I predict the 'reward' for Denmark playing their part in the staged Erickson incident will be a semi-final place in the upcoming World Cup giving them a realistic chance of winning it outright with the MSM behind him as a 'feelgood' story ...

It is over, and it's not so much that his health is more important, but his life! As statetd, it's all about quantity and quality, yikes, that sounds as familiar as I suspected, yet, there is a very good prospect for him!
My CPR story. While we were at our summer house we heard someone screaming for help, it was an elderly woman in the water so we dropped everything and ran there as fast as possible(water level was at around 1.5m) I was the first to get there and as i did i could see that she was trying to hold her husband lifeless body above the water line, but since they were both in their early 90s she just didn't have the strength. I quickly grabbed the man and pulled his head above the water line, but he both felt and looked dead. My uncle was just a few seconds behind me so we proceeded to drag him to the shore. When we got to solid ground we were able to start CPR. Thankfully my mom is a nurse so she was doing most of the CPR work, we had to roll him over a few times because vomit/water was coming up during the cpr. We did CPR for around 15 minutes and as time went on you started realizing where this was going. But then all of a sudden you could see his chest start moving on his own and then he began coughing and vomiting up water. The look of relief on his wife face as she realized he was alive is something i'll never forget. The ambulance showed up shortly after(this was at our summer house by a lake so quite the distance from a hospital) and they told us that they would probably have presumed him dead after 10 mins of CPR. But in the end he only suffered a few broken ribs and pneumonia. Amazingly enough just a few weeks later we were able to sit down and drink some coffee and eat cake with him and his family. Learning how crucial those minutes are for survival and to prevent brain injury. I'm even more amazed how a man in his 90s who was basically dead for 15 minutes managed to live and suffer no other ill affects other than the broken ribs/pneumonia. Thanks for reading my lil' story if you did!

Everyone should know first aid. Every one should know how to save a drowning person and everyone should know basic medics such as stopping blood lost and many more simple things that can save a life.

I predict the 'reward' for Denmark playing their part in the staged Erickson incident will be a semi-final place in the upcoming
World Cup giving them a realistic chance of winning it outright with the MSM behind him as a 'feelgood' story ...

Whatever happened to dr patient confidentiality data protection of some sort surely ethically this is all private info and most definitely shouldn’t be discussed on the telly
The Dr at Inter Milan confirmed that he took the Pfizer vaccine on May 31st. Could this have contributed to the cardiac arrest?
No. Next question.
@@moluther2826 why not? "inflammation of the heart muscle" indicates they are investigating the vaccine as a possible cause. It is recommended for subjects to not participate in strenuous activities within the 2 weeks of receiving the vaccine. So if you look at the time line... He should not have been on international duty if he was last vaccinated on the 31st of May. This goes against COVID medical advise. There are other Inter Milan players who also received the vaccine who are also not following protocols of the required period of rest after vaccinations. This is the problem with Footballers being treated like resources to club and country and television milking every last drop they can from these athletes by packing the fixture schedules. Fans wanted him to make a minute appearance at the final game even as a 90th minute sub to end his playing career on a high. He retired anyway as his contract had run up. Health comes first.
