Needlessly negative. Claymation VR game, Lunar remasters, sure it was leaked but Legacy of Kain remasters, Dynasty Warriors date, good MonHun information and release date, Yotei. The only thing vaguely offensive was the Horizon stuff and maybe Cerny doing a better pro presentation in 30 secs then the previous.
The thing that immediately had me buying Last Stands Concord story was the fact that the game wasn't shaping up until Sony made it shape up. That is 100%, in-line for a studio that was founded by ex-Bungie staff, I don't know if I've ever heard of anyone thats ever worked there that has been able to make a thing without its production being a total disaster
I give this like, a low B. Part of me doesn't get them being so hard on this when they would go 'that was a solid presentation from Xbox' but then well, I understand the context of expecting anything from Playstation while xbox is in a ditch.
Playing as a mage in Veilguard does look terrible, because Bioware is horribly afraid of giving characters any specific roles to fill. Mages must have access to knife combos because every class must be a generic slurry so any given party formation can be basically the same.
I'd give it a B. They showed stuff I wasn't expecting that has me excited like The Midnight Walk and Hell is Us. The only lows was Dragon Age and Monster Hunter. Super stoked for Ghost of Yotei 💛
@@aytony4090 I agree, it's a large game, it getting those trailers makes a lot of sense. However, again this was the 4th trailer in the past six months or so that was "story + new monsters and environments", so I can't really blame people for feeling a bit of oversaturation with the marketing.
Hey, this is Dan. I was quiet during this segment but I can definitely elaborate for my cohosts on their behalf. It's 30fps, we've seen it a lot at events already, that's it! I've never fallen into the MH hole but I am *less* interested if this one is 30fps. Still, I understand this is very exciting for a lot of people!
