She risked y’all’s friendship by just assuming you were flirting, if she was truly your friend she should’ve given you the benefit of the doubt and asked you and only if she wasn’t satisfied with your answer then she would’ve been right to just cut you off… sometimes toxicity is being reactive/defensive, it’s just you reacting to the way someone treats you. It’s only toxicity if you’re the instigator, or at least that’s how I see it.
You’re so right for this, I’ve always stated that in most cases me being a bad person or “toxic” was just me reacting to someone’s treatment towards me. I’m glad someone saw it how I viewed it too, for the longest time I felt there was something I did to contribute to how she reacted but honestly there wasn’t😂
