I have a little tip about the “playroom” for the kids. Not sure if it’ll be a temporary or permanent thing but maybe consider getting your pool gated ? Especially when Elle and Alaia’s playroom is literally near outside the pool. You never know what could happen :)

I had a water birth. It was beautiful and decreased my pain by like 25 percent. My hubby was in the bath with me holding me and I layed back on him. I did not feel any fear because I knew women have been having natural births for thousands of years. I knew no matter what I would just get through it. Definitely have a doula have Austin learn how to support you through the birth. Essential oils, pressing hard on your low back. Let your support system know you probably will not want to talk, you will not say what you do like, but you will definitely speak up and let them know what you DO NOT LIKE. I can tell you have a strong mind, and you are strong. Have trust in yourself, your midwife, and god. It is the most beautiful, serene way to welcome your baby. They leave warm water and come out in warm water so it is not a shock to their system. And they do not take their first breath till they come up for air. I had no fear, trusted my mid wife. And it was so beautiful. Blue light on in the tub and lights low in the room. At the end in transition I got super hot in the tub and my doula put a cold towel on my forehead, made all the difference. And the confidence after that you have in yourself is priceless. You got this mamma... You will never regret it. Plus I had a cancer baby and she loves water so much.

Catherine, you could totally do a home birth! I’m about to have my third home birth. Due June 3rd. You’re healthy and have straight forward labors/births. Some midwives provide a tub, mine does. When it comes to hiring a midwife, interview as many as possible, find the one you truly click with. My two sons were over 9lbs and 20 inches never tore, honestly my births were fantastic. There’s nothing like being home. You deliver baby, midwife checks you and baby, tucks you in, and leaves. Comes back the next day.
Whatever you choose, you’ll do great again.
