Really rather excellent tutorial. I have found Camtasia a tad cryptic to learn, but your tutorial is the first one to give me the confidence boost I needed. Far better than the creators themselves - TechSmith!
I was learning camtasia for the 1st time to start m,y youtube channel. I started learning it from linked in learning, but unfortunately, couldnt found such detailed courses like one of your playslists. Very detailed presentation, very helpful & easy to understand. I have started watching the playlist from the beginning, will complete it and then move on to other playlists on your channel. I hope other playlists are also full of learning. Thanks so much for such a work.
That's fantastic to hear! Glad you found the videos helpful and detailed. This is the style I approach for all my videos - great detail, making sure you understand all that is involved. Not just "here's how to do this" but also "why"!

More to come! Thanks for watching and subscribing! If you have any requests or features of Camtasia that you'd like to see a tutorial for, I'm really looking for ideas and I will create one for you.
Thank you! I use camtasia but have never touched the animation. I would like to create speaking heads to illustrate some dialogues. Not sure whether camtasia is the right program. I'll try.
You can probably achieve it, in Camtasia, but with simple animation (ie. only moving mouth, perhaps blinking eyes and then just slot them in at approximate times). That would be a good idea to try!
Crazy Talk is a program where you can do exactly that, only problem is, I do not know if you can use the finished files from Crazy Talk in Camtasia? Someone else can answer maybe that question 🤷♂️. ua-cam.com/video/_vsZ4Uv0gi8/v-deo.html
Well done mate! Your video just saved me hours of trawling further .......your video is better than those on Camtasia Tutorials. I really loved how you combined the detail with simplicity - I'll buy you a beer if you're ever in London. ;o) Thank you!
Cristi, Thank you so much. A BIG QUESTION: What tool does Camtasia have so that the text I add appears scrolling downward, and even better - timed? Do I hae to use multiple text boxes and tier them up? Thanks so much for anything you can tell me.
There isn’t a specific tool to do that, just text boxes and animations. I have a complete tutorial on scrolling credits (upwards but it is the same process downwards. The idea is to keep the animation speed constant and thr text box will move in sync, even if you have to use multiple boxes. @@Graphicious OMGoodness, Cristi. Thank you so much and thank you for answering so quickly. I'm going to watch the video you suggest now and I'll be able to include the technique now in the video I'm editing. 10 million kudos and thank yous!!!!
This is great! Why doesn’t Techsmith demo this with all their other training? Also just to note that your audio needs some work - don’t you use a separate mic?
Thanks for your comments and for watching! I was not using a separate microphone when I recorded this video but I started using one recently. I think the quality on my more recent videos is better.

How can we animate text .
Sentence
Animate how?
@@Graphicious I m unable to animate the content inside the slide
You can’t animate individual words or characters inside a text box in Camtasia
@Cristi Cotovan then how can I present my slide ,it will look boring otherwise.
Is there any other software
@@Graphicious that means we can't make whiteboard animation through camtesia?
You did better than camatasia
Thank you, that is encouraging!
For once, the software is actually really useful
Thanks, glad I could help.
