I didn’t realize that Debbie Morgan worked with Kristoff before her journey over to Y&R a couple of years ago. So seldom that I feel so affected by an actor’s death but this one got me. RIP Kristoff St. John. ❤️
Debbi and Kristoff also worked together many years ago on "Roots: The Next Generations" where she played the role of Alex Haley's maternal Grandaunt Elizabeth Harvey, and Kristoff starred as the young Alex Haley. To see them together on Y&R was truly a full circle moment. RIP Kristoff
This is where Kristoff St. John started his soap opera journey and just look at him now on Y&R!!! 👍👍👍👍 Debbie Morgan was also great on here and awesome on All My Children!!! 👌👌👌👌
@@jamesmcclelland1414 ooops excuse me for the misspelling of Ms. Morgan's name. Names get misspelled and pronounced wrong frequently. I'm very well aware of who she and her husband are; also I know how they started on their journey together. Therefore, unless your statement wasn't meant to be effective criticism...it is supererogatory.
@devmonbar Even if they had an all black cast or not, this show was going up against a number #1 show (Y&R) at the time. NBC put Generations in a bad timeslot IMO. On top of that, Y&R had already established a very strong black following. I remember one of the actresses (I think it was Vivca A. Fox) from Generations, commenting in Essence magazine, said that if the had been on CBS or had a lead in show like Y&R did for "The Bold & The Beautiful, the show could have been more successful.
its funny how all the prominant black actors/characters from amc, dool & y&r (nathan not neil I know) left their respective soaps to be a part of this experiment ballsy move but in a strange way I think blks were more valued in soaps then than they are now
Kristoff St.John will be missed First start in showbiz as a child to be on Generations to Y&R I'm SOO sadden about the news RIP Kristoff St.John 🙏🏿🙏🏿💔

Such a shame
Of course they knew....I remember reading when the show was canceled.
I honestly believed that if this show had an all black cast with better writing anddid away with the PC BS, it would have stayed around longer...

I did not know it aired the same time as Y&R, then your right, even though I hate the direction Y and R is going now, I still watch it...
Doreen was the best B____ ch around no one did it better
Oh Maya, the actress played in Independance Day later, i think :) What a beauty! And the one that played Chantall too.
How do you not know who Vivica A. Fox is?
@Tina Butterfly Yep 👍🏻, and it's Vivica A. Fox 🦊 to you.
