I've had a few people searching for different versions of other OpenTTD musictracks. I don't know what other versions there would be. My theory is that because the original track is in MIDI filetype it doesn't sound the same. MIDI is no music format, just "notes". Your computer, device or whatever that plays the song then use their own "instruments" which is different depending on what machine it is. It probably then sounds different on cellphones and Macs but this is how the song sounds for me.
I used to play this game in 2015 exactly three years ago.. as the music goes by... time flies .. this song mixes bitter-sweet feelings such as sadness and happiness
