Hi Kerri Thank you for a great video! How much did you use the pen. I’m finding when I go to a new line the pen jumps and starts reading the new line before it finishes reading the first. Do you have a solution to this?
No you cannot get it to read a whole paragraph it only reads single sentences. It's more useful for if you're not really needing to read things more than like labels and such don't use it for books.
Nice! I've been looking at multiple reviews of this because, like you, I too have difficulty retaining information from reading alone. I can read just fine, but I learn better if I hear what I'm reading AND see what I'm reading. For years, I got around this by reading aloud to myself in my room, either in the volume of a normal speaking voice or whispering. But that's kind of pain at certain times in my life, such as when others are around and I don't want to disturb them by constantly being my own Text-To-Speech, and during allergy seasons when I have a sore throat fequently and my mouth is usually occupied with dissolving throat lozenges. I've been having Alexa read Kindle books to me, or listened to the audio version on Audible along with the actual book. But obviously, not all books have audiobook adaptations, and not all books are even available electronically! There's a book by John Day on the biblical Leviathan I've been wanting to read, and it is ONLY available as a physical book on Amazon. So, no text to speech is possible here unless I rip it apart, scan the document, and put it into some text to speech generator. I don't want to do that. Besides, I don't even have a scanner. This would be so helpful for people like myself who learn best by sight AND sound.
Hi there, It will depend on your local area. If you have a local learning disabilities association or similar, it would be worth contacting them to find details.
TweckArt I bought this and it is a beautiful product but the problem is my mom is also hard of hearing so even with the earphones she could not hear what it was reading back to her I had to send it back.
