I remember yearsss ago (don't ask, haaa) when I did face modeling I was so shocked to see myself in the mirror after having had black/white makeup applied. My Mom said I looked like a hooker ghost. But, they are amongst my favorite photos taken. At that time they used stark white powder on my face, gray for the contours and black liner for the lips.... very similar effect to what you've done here.

As a photographer you certainly understand the technical and color science of photography. Shooting black and white is defiantly more about depth and tonal range of conturing the light across skin. In analyzing classic b&w films you really learn a-lot why the cinematographer understood the manipulation of light. Something that is a lost relic are silver screens. Old movie screens seemed to have light reflecting specs of silver to help better refract the light from the film projector helping to make the image brighter and luminous.
When I watch your videos I just think of how knowledgeable you are in this field and how, I dare say, you're superior to other YT make up artists/beauty gurus out there who use an obscene amount of products for mediocre results. You, on the other hand, use relatively less products and rely more on your skills. You've got yourself a fan from Indonesia
One of the things I have always liked about you is that you are not pushing a brand, but instead, teaching makeup techniques. In other words, you are not playing to the sponsors like most. Love all the music in the background, including your singing. Thanks Pam

WOW! You are GORGEOUS, and such a talented makeup artist! Hands down THE best makeup tutorial on YT! This was perfect. You have such incredible skills. Omg! this is so great to know! At first I'm like woah with that black liner on the lips but then you switch it to the black and white feature and I'm like so astonished at how it does really make a difference! You are amazing!

i wish we could have seen a comparison with a "normal make up". Our civil IDs here are in black and white. I wanted to look undead on it, but i dont know how my conservative country will feel about me showing up like this. Amazing tutorial nonetheless
