Its Thali cost was between Rs 30-40 at that time or may be even less than this. Then it opened in Sec 35 in Bay shop. Now in Corner showroom in 35. This family belongs to Gurdaspur. I still remember the taste of that Thali even after almost 40 years. Lala ji used to serve food with Pure Punjabi love. Kheer used to be AWESOME

Andar ka kitchen kitna saaf ya ganda hai? Looks to be a very congested hole in the wall type of place in those small scf places. poor lighting, hot, sweaty without proper exhaust fans etc. The kitchen is the main place to judge the quality of the food. Lack of washing areas and running water is there in most of these places as the chandigarh admn has not put adequate size overhead water tanks at the SCF shops. Water is generally brought by tankers at commercial joints in Chandigarh
Sad to see unemployed kids running. Around for free food, especially Sikh kids doing jugad to get meals. While Chinese kids are building nations these unemployable children from middle class families are doing this adding no value to society. Can you imagine how the parents feel
