When i complete the high school education, I will play this song on my farewell.
As I prepare for the last of over 150 games I've played for my hometown club, I'm listening to this, and remembering the 7 years of football that have made up my life. This song is perfect. Highs, lows, it perfectly describes everyone's journey.
This really hits different when you listen to it through headphones, just sat with your eyes closed in the middle of the night, just listening to the music. For some reason, I just imagine then ending scene of a film in which the city is burning to the ground and I picture everybody trying to run away or protect their children or fight the fire as the music goes on, but most importantly , I picture a girl stood on the roof of one of the skyscrapers playing the violin part in the rain while around her the city burns down. I makes me feel some kind of way I can’t explain, like I’m disconnected from my body or something. It truly is an experience
