Thanks for the video! i've watched your reviews on the Black Fin and Irockers as well. I'm 50 - 5'4" and about 175. First time paddler. Planning on being on lakes mostly...so calm, with some boat wakes and small waves from wind. I thought you were really recommending the Blackfin/Irocker all arounds - but now it seems maybe you like this one better. Thoughts? I have very little upper body strength, and a larger chest - so I kind of like the idea of the 4.7. Help!?!? What do you think will suit me best???
Hi Jacqueline. Thanks for the comment and question. You will definitely notice some extra balance from the 4.7" boards as you are closer to the water. The iRocker and Blackfin have some good options if you want to carry gear with you, but if it's just for a leisurely paddle, consider this Byron just for the feel, light weight and ease of use. Or if you want something that's a little more stable, take a look at the Honu Fairlight. Hope this helps! Beau
Thanks Beau. On the Honu website - can't seem to locate the "Fairlight" . What about fin configuration? should i worry about one long fin if I'm going to be in shallow water? Is it replaceable?
Great video, I can't wait to go Paddle 😁❤
