    Even with an injury he stood his ground. They are so resilient.

    Reminds me of a bunch of drunk college kids on spring break trying to get some action! Lol

    New Sub. Your video came up in my feed this afternoon. That must have been wild to experience in real time. Thanks for sharing!

    Breed a lot of heart into the herd that’s for sure.

    His front right leg is injured. Wonder if it’s from battling with other bucks, an old shot wound, or something else.

      My best assumption would be from fighting, I have seen him several times this season and he was fine then. But he probably got roughed up recently

    That poor 2 year old was exhausted ! Even with a bad leg he did well If a 3 year old would have showed up he'd have been in trouble Great video thanks for sharing

      He would have been ran off in no time if an upper age class buck showed up

    I miss this about being in the northern areas of the country (in the SE now). We have rutting and chasing but it's much more spread out.
    How is that spiker running? He must have a set of balls on him LOL

      The Ohio rut and almost places farther north are very hard to beat! One of the best times of the year!

    It's easy to see why these bucks get run down by the end of breeding season!! What we won't do, for a little doe/dough!!!😅

    I get it..nobody wants to waste a tag on a cull buck but if he's your dominant breeder, your future herd doesn't look too promising. It made great video but the better genes could have been in the 2 that got run off by the cull buck

    • @BuckeyeBuckGuy
      @BuckeyeBuckGuy  11 місяців тому +3

      I wouldn’t be too quick to name him a cull buck yet, he’s only a 2 1/2 year old buck. A deer of that age can’t be justified as a cull buck
