Matagorda Lanzarote

Matagorda is the resort at the airport end of Puerto del Carmen in Lanzarote and has everything you need for a relaxing holiday - lovely beaches, loads of bars, shops and restaurants, and the area is nice and flat. #lanzarote #matagorda

My wife and I hope to one day retire there. People such try the lovely costa mar apartments.

Costa Mar is in the Playa Los Pocillos area of Puerto del Carmen. It's only a short walk along the front to Matagorda from there.

Los Pocillos was lovely in May. Costa Mar was great. For 2 people they gave us a huge 2 bed apartment with a madsive sun terrace. Almost 360 degree view of the sea & planes.

I'm going to Matagorda this November. Are there any toilets on or near the beach please?

There are public toilets on the beach, at the Matagorda end of Playa Los Pocillos, just off the promenade.
