Dude, just bought this for my Sub25, sounds great! Thanks Emilio!
Super dope presets, man! I'm grabbing your pack for my Sub Phatty. Thanks for your diligent work in putting these together.
Thank you so much for your support, man! I’m glad that you like them. You’re very welcome - comments like this make all the hard work worth it! I really appreciate it 🙏🏼
AMAZING package, everyone! I promise you that you will not be in any way disappointed. Superb and speedy service also! 😁
You're freakin amazing bro! I'm first in line when you release the Subsequent 37 pack! Can't wait

These are incredible. Purchased on Friday to use for a gig on Saturday. They sit great in a mix with a full band. Thank you for your hard work and for sharing!

This is solid gold. Thank you man!!!

Awesome job! Purchased
TONS of useful sounds . I'll def be getting this one my sub phatty arrives Thursday
Thanks so much, man! I’m glad you like the presets. Enjoy that Sub Phatty! And thank you in advance for your purchase! Much appreciated
Bruh!! I listened and the pack sounds killer! Clicked the link and was shocked by the reasonable price, then you really sold me with “To God Be The Glory”!! Amen brother. Extremely talented, thanks for your efforts.
Praise God! Thank you so much for the support bro

Best Moog bass sounds I've heard!!! 🤙🏻
That really means a lot man thanks so much!
Purchased! These are amazing!
Thank you so much dude!! I really appreciate your support 🙏🏼
Bought your pack, Emilio. Thanks for all the work you've put into that. I've got a Sub25. For the Sub25 people: if the volume is too low, first raise the preset volume in the editor. The standard presets are almost always maxed out at 10 , and these presets have a volume of 2-4. You will find that you don't have to change any settings on your sub25. Again, thank you Emilio.
Great advice, thanks for sharing! Hope you’re enjoying the presets! I really appreciate your support
Just the question I needed answered!
Just got a sub 25 and this is exactly what I’m looking for. Thanks for sharing!
I’m glad! Thanks for checking it out! Enjoy
Man, this is super dope; I just bought your presets. Now I have to wait to my sub 25 gets here. Thanks for this!!!
So this is exactly what I was looking for. Very happy buyer.
I’m so glad! Thank you very much for you purchase 🙏🏼
you outdid yourself! Very impressive. also! I was told by a Moog engineer that the Subsequent 25 uses the same internal board/circuitry as the Subsequent 37. It's the best of both imo. The layout of the Sub Phatty with the sound of the Subsequent 37! I love mine
Thank you so much! Yeah I definitely agree! I love how compact the 25/Sub Phatty is without sacrificing any of the sound. Perfect for gigging or traveling!
Great Taurus and very good playing mate. Well done!
Thank you Winston!
Wow, excellent! Thanks!

Hey Homie,
This was Dope. I wasn't supposed to make it to 49, but I beat everything and when I turned 50 I decided to make an album because of my insane love of music. It's been mostly terrifying 😂🤣😂 but really great for my soul. Without ever really playing more than a riff or two on anything, it's kind of a heavy gig too, so I'm figuring things out and this was a huge help. Instructional dudes seem to like to speak more about themselves and theory than just play some shit and let ya figure it out. Thanks a bunch man. I'm most def gonna jack "Buzzy 808" from ya old skool style, it's one of those sounds in my head I couldn't figure out how to get out yet, so I'm using it for a song 😎I'm doing this for myself, but who knows someone may actually dig it and if it ever makes any dough I'll hook ya up, but for now I clicked all your buttons, down payment style. I really dig "Soft Sub" and the second slower part of "Sub Bass" combined with "Sub Sweeper & Super PWM" minus the first two notes in some kind of flow together too. The "Judas w/effects" totally reminded me of YAZ, one of fav's back in the day when I wasn't in full on hip hip or punk mode. This was really neat and I sincerely appreciate the breviloquence of your efforts here and your valuable time you put into this. It actually was what the title said it was and that's dope considering what I'm doing. Thanks Homie.
Much love!!! ✌

Great pack brotha! So what did u do to black out the panel on this Sub Phatty??!
Dude!!! 24K? Shofukan?? Binky??? This is too much, glad you were finally able to put this together! Out of curiosity does the Zip file show you the physical knob settings to get these sounds or are they presets that download onto the subphatty?
Thank you so much Mike 🙏🏼 The file contains actual presets that you can load into the Sub Phatty using Moog’s editor software than you get access to when you register your instrument. If you need help with anything just let me know!
@@emiliorivera1045 Gotcha! I registered forever ago so I'll have to try and find my editing software. Definitely picking this pack up! Is there a link with the download for the editing software or would have to login somewhere on Moog to get it? Thanks for your reply and assistance!

These sounds are brilliant.
Well done.
Who would you choose between a Sub25, Slim Phatty, or Minitaur?
(To pair with a Prophet Rev2)
Thank you!
Hmm that’s a good question I think they’re all really good options but I personally would pick the Slim Phatty. That is the best sounding Moog of those 3 in my opinion. But you really can’t go wrong with any of them!
This intro was the domestic dopest.
Front panel looks really cool. How did you do this?
look up a band called sophistafunk, every song uses the rouge moog, great bass sound
Hello Emilio I am buying the Sub 25 this week. But have not seen it up close. How do you install or save some of your presets to the Sub 25?. I will be buying your pack after I received the Sub 25. Is this through USB or do you need a laptop?
thank you so much for sharing. one question - i am searching for front apnesl for the moog - what kind of panel do you have? where is it form?! ;-) thank you
Hi Phil! I got this front panel installed by Moog. It is just a normal panel without the sticker overlay :) Thanks for watching!
Awesome work! I'm new to moog and still deciding whether to go with Subsequent 25 or Subsequent 37? :) Which one would you suggest given your experience?
Thank you! I personally would suggest the Subsequent 25. It’s such a great little instrument and I actually prefer the simplicity of it. There’s something very inviting about it whereas the Subsequent 37 can be a bit intimidating, especially for a newcomer to Moog.
That's good to know. I was also wondering about the simplicity factor. Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts!
Hey Emilio, love the preset pack and your synth bass covers. Can you tell me when the sub37 pack will be available? God bless!
Hi Joel! Thank you so much! I’m glad you like them. My hope is to have it done by Christmas. God bless you too, brother!

Thank you so much for your purchase man! I really appreciate it
These are super cool Emilio! Is there a way to map the preset settings to the Sub 37/Subsequent 37? Thanks
Thanks, John! Unfortunately there isn’t a way to map the presets to the Sub 37 but I hope to make a preset pack for the Sub 37 including all these sounds in the next few months!
Yes please!!
I've started making a Sub 25 patch for Sucker Punch by Sigrid but I can't seem to get it quite right. Is there a better way for me to contact you for some advice/help?
Sure! You can send me an email at milimoog@icloud.com
Hi, really great sounds. Congratulations! Do you think this presets sound the same on the subsequent 25? I didn't find any video with bass lines like yours on it. You sold me the desire for this bass lines on the phatty.
Hi Josmael, thank you for the kind words! Yes they should sound extremely similar on the Subsequent 25. The only difference between the two instruments is some slight gain staging differences, so to get them to sound exactly the same you may have to adjust the oscillator level knobs and multidrive knob.
@@emiliorivera1045 Thank you. I have the Slim Phatty and Minitaur but I´m on the hunt for a Sub 25.

how can this be used? For example i use an MPCOne. Are these sounds that I can save to my sd card and use them on pads? or is this depending on using a computer?
Hey Peter thanks for the interest. These are the presets for the Moog Sub Phatty that you can only use if you have the Moog Sub Phatty or Subsequent 25.
This is a Sub Phatty, right? I wonder if the Sub 25 firmware works on a Sub Phatty for going duophonic. I guess the presets are cross compatible
I bought the patch thanks! How do I install it to my sub 25? Meaning filling the 16 buttons with my selection of your patches
Don’t know the syx files
Hi Camille,
Thank you so much for your purchase! To fill the 16 onboard presets with these sounds, simply drag and drop the preset to the right window where you see the 16 slots. Here’s the manual for the editor that will help with all the intricacies of the software: moogconnect.net/downloads/subphatty/Sub_Editor_Manual_rev18.pdf
If you have any other questions, don’t hesitate to let me know!
Can I load these patches into a Subsequent 37?

Hello! Thank you for your interest! I don’t but if there’s sounds here that you would like without purchasing the whole pack I can maybe work something out.
What are you using to record the audio and video?
Hello! I use a Ableton Live 9 with a Focusrite Scarlett 4i4 interface to record audio and I record video using my phone. This was shot using an iPhone 11 Pro.
Wow Super tasty!
Thank you so much!
This is great 👍 I’m new to moog! I purchased your product! How do I load?
Hi Angelo!
Thank you so much for your purchase! To use the presets on your Sub Phatty, first you must download the Sub Phatty Editor from Moog’s website. If you haven’t already registered your instrument, you will have to register it to get access to the editor download. Once you download the editor you can open the sysex files and import them as presets in the editor.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask and I will be happy to help!
@emiliorivera got it! Omg 😳 great job! Everyone come get this pack!
Hi again Emilio,
I am looking for a mono-synth to use for left-hand bass-lines during funk/jazz gigs. My right-hand will be either playing a Roland Juno 6 or Fender Rhodes piano.
There is the Behringer Poly-D as well as the Moog Sub-25. It appears the latter is more expensive than the former - Behringer is usually cheap!
I could do with 'memory' to be honest, so the latter may be favourite in this respect. When playing two-handed it's often difficult to keep one hand 'free' every couple of minutes. However, it only has 2 octaves! - can I manage with this limitation?; quite possibly.
Obviously is rather difficult to visit music shops for live demonstrations and testing due to the unmentionable . . .
Cheers,
Paul David Seaman
Wow that sounds like a sick setup! Juno and Rhodes?? I’m jealous 😆
The Sub 25 would be great for one handed bass playing and though it is a little pricier than the Behringer, I think it would be worth the investment if that smooth Moog tone is what you’re after. And it is the cheapest keyboard Moog that has patch memory although an alternative would be a Moog Mintaur + MIDI keyboard. This setup has the potential to be cheaper than the Sub 25 depending on what MIDI keyboard you get to go with it. And the Minitaur does have the ability to save patches and of course you can hook it up to as big a keyboard as you would like, overcoming the limitation of the Sub 25.
However, a great non-Moog alternative is the Novation Bass Station II which sounds excellent. One of my favorite synth bassists, Darrell Freeman, used one of these a lot and his patches are killer! The only downside is it’s a 25 key synth.
I hope this helps!
@@emiliorivera1045 - Hi ER, many thanks. I had not heard of the Novation before. Yes, Darrell Freeman is a very hip player! However, I don't like the layout of it to be honest. I'm probably in the minority here as I guess most players like to have as many controls crammed into the front panel as possible.
If I used a Moog Mintaur with a MIDI keyboard then this means bringing along something extra to the gig, and then finding somewhere to place it safely from getting knocked over! I play in a lot of small bars and people get drunk bumping into things surrounding them.
I was originally drawn to the Moog Sub because I intended to buy a Moog Phatty; however these seem to have been discontinued, since. Is the Moog Sub 25 mini-keys or full-size, please?
Cheers,
Paul

@@emiliorivera1045 cool. But I thought only 16 presets could be in the Moog???
Yes that is correct. You can only have 16 presets at a time on the instrument itself but when you hook it up to the computer you can use as many sounds as you like. But when you disconnect it from the computer you will have just 16.
Emilio, which of this two synths do you prefer for Bass, if you only could buy one, the Sub Phatty or the newer Subsequent 25? Why? Thx!

Hello I just bought a used Moog Sub Phatty 25 I would like to get these sounds However I am beginner as a synth user How do I go about installing your patch sounds Sir??
Hi, thank you for your interest! To install the sounds, first you have to register your instrument on the Moog website which will give you access to download the editor. Then, load the patches into the editor, connect your Subsequent 25 to your computer using a USB cable and transfer them to the instrument. Let me know if you have any questions!
@@emiliorivera1045 Ok Thanx
@@KahyohBeNo problem!
Hi, this pack can use for moog little phatty?
+ 1 !
Unfortunately not, this only works for the Sub Phatty and Subsequent 25. Sorry :(
@@emiliorivera1045 Okay! Thanks!
@@emiliorivera1045 Bad...Thanks for your answer.
Hi Emilio, any progress on the 37 pack? super keen!
Hi Sahn! Yes it’s been out for a few months now! Here’s the link: ua-cam.com/video/5RhupObGeCU/v-deo.html
Thanks for your great work!
My pleasure! Thank you for your support. I hope you enjoy the presets :)
Do these work for a Little Phatty?
Hi Ryan, unfortunately these won’t work on a Little Phatty. Maybe one day I’ll find one and make a pack for it.
Can this be used for the sub 37?
Unfortunately not. However, I do have plans to make a Sub 37 pack once I can get my hands on one.
Link is not working :(
Emilio, I'm still thinking of buying one of these now that lockdown has been eased significantly. . .
Is your preset soundpack easy to load? Have you made a video on how to install and transfer the purchased songs?
Hi, will you get a chance to answer my question, please? Cheers!
@@monsterjazzlicks Hey man I’m so sorry I’m just now seeing your comments here. The presets are very easy to load. All you have to do is register your instrument on the Moog website which will give you access to download the editor. Then, load the patches into the editor, connect your Subsequent 25 to your computer using a USB cable and transfer them to the instrument. Let me know if you have any questions!
@@emiliorivera1045 Hi Emillo, thanks for your help here. Its great to hear from you and I hope you are keeping well. I am actually stuck on something and Moog Inc. Still have not replied after 2 weeks! I would really like to install your library. Is it possible for me to PM you please? Many thanks, Paul
@@monsterjazzlicksThanks man I’m doing well - hope you are! I’m sorry to hear that it’s taken so long for them to get back to you. Yes of course you can email me
Why is the back of your moog blavk and not silver?
This is actually a custom Moog Sub Phatty, not a Subsequent 25. I just had the front panel and side panels replaced :)
Emilio, I want to buy this package, but I am also looking for any other Michael Jackson presets you have. Can you let me know?
Hello! This pack contains all of my Michael Jackson presets that I have made.
What song is SOMD?
Sleeping on my Dreams by Jacob Collier
Does the Sub 25 have built in FX?
Hello! No it does not. The effects used in the 2 examples at 8:39 and 20:42 in this video used external guitar pedals for the chorus/reverb.
@@emiliorivera1045 Thanks, I was wondering where the source was.
@@monsterjazzlicks No problem! Thanks for checking out the video :)
@@emiliorivera1045 I actually have a fairly in depth question if you don't mind please?
How do I get these where do I purchase ?????
Hi Cristopher! Click the link in the description!
Could you make these for the Sub 37?
Yes I would like to make a pack for the Sub 37. Hard to find one in stock these days but once I get one I’ll definitely make a pack!
Hey man! I need help getting the patches you made on my phatty! Any chance you can lend some advice? Thanks!!!
Yeah of course man! How can I help?
Okay so I have the editor open and it says please connect your phatty and set the MIDI In and Out on Setup page.. where do I go from there to connect to the editor? I have my phatty connected directed to usb to my mac with no hub..I don’t have midi cables connected.
@@matthewyarko530 Hmm ok. I think it may be an issue with the MIDI settings on the synth. Have you tried performing an “initialize preset” on the synth? I believe this will reset the MIDI settings.
@@emiliorivera1045 okay I got it to connect to the editor and firmware is all linked up! Just need to know how to upload your patches and then I’m all set!!
@@matthewyarko530 Awesome! So now you just have to click import and select the folder containing the presets. Thank you for your purchase man! I really appreciate it. Also, I found this manual to the editor you may find helpful: soundprogramming.net/manuals/Moog_SubPhatty_EditorManual_v18.pdf Cheers!

Hello! Yes these patches work with Moog Sub Phatty
