I miscarried on May 23,2023. I was contemplating taking my life for months. I was going to leave my 1 year old daughter without a mother and for my fiancé (my other half) alone to raise her but one night I felt God. His love wrapped around my entire body like a warm hug. I play drums for my church. You know what I focus on? Having fun and worshipping God with my musical abilities. Don’t think about the crowd. If I concentrate on the crowd, then I’m getting nervous for sure AND I’m not really focused on what’s most important: Worshipping God. Just enjoy it, man. I almost died last year. A year ago today I was in the ICU for 2 weeks fighting for my life. I never want to forget the overwhelming feeling of calm and love He surrounded me in. But more importantly for several days after I became coherent I would get pushed around the hospital in a wheelchair and I saw the world and people so differently - almost childlike. Everything looked wondrous and beautiful. Every color looked vibrant. People looked different. Their bodies were just vessels for their souls. I actually SAW people. In those days everything was simple. Nothing matters except the connections we make with other people and nature and anything living. Humanity never felt so spiritually deep. Every worry and fear was completely unimportant because being here now present in the moment is all that matters and once we are gone, even if it’s just a sliver of the feeling I felt in those days in His presence, it’s a glorious feeling I can never find words for. I can only believe that perspective I was blessed to receive in those days is a glimpse at how truly beautiful life can be if we are more like Jesus. This song brings tears to my eyes because I want to be more like Jesus. I want to uncomplicate life, slow down, see humanity, love people and have compassion in all that I do. I pray I never forget that glimpse and I can continue to grow in a way that honors Him. 🙏🏼💙

I first heard this song in the car and now I find myself in tears, knowing that the devil stole more than half of my life with pornography addiction. I was raised in the gospel, grew up in the fear of the Lord, but pornography entered my life and had an impact on every area of my life, making me someone more fearful, stealing my dreams. I look at who I am today and I'm not even half of who I thought I would be when I was a child and talked to God. I think maybe it's too late, that I'm already so far from the Lord and that there's no more time for me. All I wanted was to feel the same joy I felt when I was a child and talked to you, Lord, when it was just us two and my innocence was found in your love.

And if you haven’t asked him to save your soul, ask him to and allow him to continue to fix your issues. God forgave murderers, adulterers, and all kinds of other sinners. He turned them around with his mercy and Grace, and even USED them to change the world! Don’t limit yourself because of your earthly viewpoint.

I’m 23 still trying to figure life out. I feel lost, I feel guilty and ashamed because I moved astray from God. I ruined my relationship with God which made me lose everything including myself in the process. I feel lost but I know I will find my way back. Healing is not linear, I try to get up despite the many times I keep falling back in the dark. I’ve been a drug addict sense I was 12. I know what you’re going thru and how hopeless it feels! You’re not hopeless the enemy is a lair!!!! Jesus saved my life from an over dose and I saw his face! Only thing I could tell him when I saw his face was he was beautiful I told him twice! I cried so hard only happy tiers. There was nothing in me that wasn’t fulfilled! This world is brutal and so intense. Sadly I didn’t get sober in that encounter with him. But he’s shown himself faithful in the mist of our struggles. Stay focused on him no matter what life brings and he will bring you thru.

I almost died last year. A year ago today I was in the ICU for 2 weeks fighting for my life. I never want to forget the overwhelming feeling of calm and love He surrounded me in. But more importantly for several days after I became coherent I would get pushed around the hospital in a wheelchair and I saw the world and people so differently - almost childlike. Everything looked wondrous and beautiful. Every color looked vibrant. People looked different. Their bodies were just vessels for their souls. I actually SAW people. In those days everything was simple. Nothing matters except the connections we make with other people and nature and anything living. Humanity never felt so spiritually deep. Every worry and fear was completely unimportant because being here now present in the moment is all that matters and once we are gone, even if it’s just a sliver of the feeling I felt in those days in His presence, it’s a glorious feeling I can never find words for. I can only believe that perspective I was blessed to receive in those days is a glimpse at how truly beautiful life can be if we are more like Jesus. This song brings tears to my eyes because I want to be more like Jesus. I want to uncomplicate life, slow down, see humanity, love people and have compassion in all that I do. I pray I never forget that glimpse and I can continue to grow in a way that honors Him. 🙏🏼💙

I was raised in the gospel, grew up in the fear of the Lord, but pornography entered my life and had an impact on every area of my life, making me someone more fearful, stealing my dreams. I look at who I am today and I'm not even half of who I thought I would be when I was a child and talked to God. I think maybe it's too late, that I'm already so far from the Lord and that there's no more time for me. Good good Lord I needed this song in my life. I just turned 29 and have struggled with alcohol and other substances since I was 16. Im sick of waking up with overwhelming shame and feelings of unworthiness. On my birthday this year I decided to give it all up, pick up my cross and drop to my knees. I need you Jesus, I love you. No weapon formed against me shall prosper. Satan leave me alone in Christ Jesus name. The name all demons know and shutter at the sound. Thank you Lord for Your Son who conquered the grave. If I spent the rest of my life thanking you it still would not be enough but Lord I’m going to do my best.

I’m 23 still trying to figure life out. I feel lost, I feel guilty and ashamed because I moved astray from God. I ruined my relationship with God which made me lose everything including myself in the process. I feel lost but I know I will find my way back. Healing is not linear, I try to get up despite the many times I keep falling back in the dark. I don’t know when nor how but 6:04 I believe and I keep on praying even when sometimes I feel my prayers are empty, I believe God hears and he will lead me through back to him
