I was a special ed student. Although I went to a smaller school and was never really bullied for being special ed, this still really hit home for me. I just graduated high school back in June 2023 and had an amazing special ed teacher and I ended up friending her on Facebook as a way to stay in contact with her

In reality, I think that Saun will hate Lewis much more, but in the DMU, there is always a good ending.
As someone with a learning disability I relate to this a lot, I was always called dumb my whole life so I gave up on my grades and my future. Junior year of high school I changed it all around. I spent hours studying and wasn’t afraid to reach out for extra help. I spent lots of time every week at one on one lessons with teachers and eventually I became a really great student. Just because you learn differently doesn’t mean you aren’t smart.
I can relate. Different subjects bothered me too.
I just passed with a diploma in four different courses...

I always believe that autism was a disability till i realized it’s really a different ability. The things i see autism kids do is beyond comprehension. I was stunned! They’re like little geniuses no joke.

Dhar, you did a good job depicting learning disabilities and special Ed! I am in special Ed for behavioral things and there are also kids in there with learning difficulties, and for kids with different learning experiences, the classrooms are very similar to the way you portrayed them! It’s so nice to see an accurate portrayal of these things!
Someone might be having worse than you. And they are not even that smart. And I also hate being jealous, its like I'm being left out. I'm having more problems than other people, I know what it feels like to be jealous, trying to hide your smile. It's just so hard for me to do work. The hard stuff that happens to me, I even said I wish I die. And having problem with anger.

yeh you cant tell a kid that they don't belong in the class especially in front of everyone else I'm dyslexic and in hi-cap and my math teacher E-mailed me telling me to ask my parents to put me in gen-ed because the math was too hard it was really humiliating and nobody even saw it (i still did good in the class I wasn't failing or anything)

I have severe ADHD, and I’m currently being tested for high functioning autism. I’m getting an IEP next year and at first I was upset about it but now I realize I just learn differently than everyone else. I’m not dumb.

Ms. Green hasn't grown for seven years
I felt bad for Lewis, but also for Sean because he didn't realise that Lewis was above him because Lewis is now a successful author and Sean is a janitor and said his business will never happen. That is not true at all; he can make that happen if he believes and listens to Lewis's advice. Lewis is amazing, and I would love to get one of his books one day; they are so inspiring. I'm glad Sean and Lewis became friends in the end.

Ugh...this hits hard. I'm dyslexic as well znd had a total stranger call me dangerous because of it. Not only that but I've always felt less intelligent because I read slower than a lot of my peers. Plot twist: Sean is a children to a drunk father who had accidentally crashed a car with Lewis. Lewis got a head injury so bad, which caused him to have learning disabilities as consequential trauma from the incident.

this video was so heart warming. It made me want to go out in the world and achieve all of my dreams!
My boyfriend has Asperger’s and had an IEP all throughout school. He was bullied in school, even though he’s smart. He took all IB courses and they were too easy for him to the point that he got bored. (Meanwhile my friends were struggling at my HS to keep up when they did full IB. I did half IB myself and went for an advanced diploma, and it was still demanding).
My bf’s literally a genius. He’s a regional trivia winner and on track to going to Jeopardy and all that. He’s easily the smartest person I know.
So no, special Ed, learning disabilities, being on the autism spectrum, etc. doesn’t indicate how “smart” you are or how successful you’ll be in life.

I have learning disabilities so for certain classes I now go in a room called “The link” which is for people that are far behind on work/struggle with understanding and I love how kind the teacher is in there. Hes really helpful and its a nice quiet room to be in.

I was a special ed kid who always get pulled out of class i would do stuff that would be easy for me and i would get bullied for it, and on top of that i would get beat up when the teacher is not looking i would get slap punched in the face i wouldn't try and fight back if i did their friends would make my life miserable i tried to tell on them but i would get beat up for that everytime and they would call me sped, also my teachers would be very nice whenever i was poor my teachers would buy me new shoes or clothes i would get made fun of for it then i would be called broke this video just shows even if your a special ed kid u can achieve your dreams mine is to become a youtuber hope yall like this story this is actually true on god.
I was in special Ed, I was in there for adhd and aspergers! Never judge a person , because in the end you never know what theu are going through!Done!

The special ed teacher was the only good teacher... the original one just ignored the fact that the kid was being bullied and publicly humiliated him. At least Ms. Green yelled at SeAN.
