Genocide Route
The perspective shifts to a human child named R.G.
Before the arrival of the "Day of Fusion," R.G. accidentally falls into a rift between two timelines that are gradually "attracting" each other.
An incomplete world is bound to exhibit anomalies, especially when forcibly divided into two timelines. Even before the "Day of Fusion," bugs arising from this "attraction" could already occur.
Before the fusion, the world needed to undergo changes and repairs to ensure stability post-fusion. This process made it more susceptible to anomalies or bugs.
R.G. was "fortunate" enough to "fall into" one of these bugs (or maybe even more?).
This fall, in a spatial sense, wasn't a physical descent but more akin to "clipping" through the game world (similar to the concept of the Backrooms).
Because of this bug, R.G. gained the ability to traverse between the two worlds. This ability functioned like game clipping.
R.G. used this power to gather extensive knowledge and experience. During their exploration, they stumbled upon Alphys' underground lab, where they obtained a powerful substance called "Determination." This newfound power further enabled R.G. to traverse between the two worlds more recklessly.
R.G. discovered that the power of Determination wasn't limited to strengthening personal resolve-it could also alter everything. Over time, as the timelines reset repeatedly, R.G. began to view themselves as someone beyond the rules of the world. This overwhelming power led to a growing arrogance.
The world gradually became uninteresting in R.G.'s eyes. The power to distort the world slowly twisted R.G.'s own self...
With Determination came the price of erasing their true self and shaping a new self according to their desires. Regardless of morality, good or evil, R.G.'s actions grew bolder. Their concept of life and death blurred.
“Died? Just reset.”
The legal education they once received on the surface world began to fade. Laws became something to trample over.
Seeking new thrills, R.G. witnessed a strange phenomenon during their travels: the worlds of surface and underground were on the verge of merging.
Sensing the potential for new excitement, R.G. stopped resetting timelines and awaited the arrival of the "Day of Fusion."

The once-thriving cities fell to ruin. Rationality, like soil and fertilizer, nourished seeds of desire, blooming into thorny flowers. Blood dripped from petals into the ground, turning golden flowers into a dangerous crimson.
This chaos was what R.G. desired. But… was it too mundane?
Why not stoke the flames? Why not let the chaos reach its peak?
Now was the perfect time to wield the blade.
In one attempt, with bloodstained hands, they pressed reset.
Everything reverted as if nothing had happened.
To R.G., what mattered more than meaning was the joy of life.
The blade in their hand gleamed coldly, as if responding to their thirst for slaughter. Their golden eyes reflected madness and supreme arrogance.
They began hunting, slaughtering every life they encountered.
The people trembled in fear. Stories of R.G. spread across the world- a complete lunatic, a bloodthirsty killer!
R.G. reveled in the process, feeling liberated and fulfilled by the slaughter. Determination pulsed within, molding a heart that craved nothing but "killing."

Setting ①: The Twin Worlds
The Creator carved out two interdependent timelines in the void.
These timelines are known as the Surface World and the Underground World, representing positive and negative forces (positivity and negativity, good and evil).
Both worlds have their own inhabitants who collectively worship the Creator.
Surface World: Its inhabitants are enthusiastic, optimistic, and filled with joy and rationality.
Underground World: Its inhabitants are gloomy, sorrowful, and dominated by desire and human flaws.
These two worlds, though forcibly separated, remain connected by a mysterious attraction. This attraction sometimes causes spatial anomalies, such as buildings from the Underground appearing briefly in the Surface. Such events are usually fleeting and unnoticed, causing minimal disruption.
However, on a larger scale, the timelines slowly converge. While spatial anomalies remain rare, over vast periods, convergence is inevitable.

Unknown forces spread, bringing strange phenomena in quick succession.
The inhabitants' understanding of their world twisted as they glimpsed its shadow.
People grew curious, and so did the shadows.
Could ancient desires be extinguished by reason?
Could unshakable order be toppled by chaos?
The division deeply rooted itself in people’s minds, leading them to believe all things are truly independent entities.
Yet, the ultimate solution lay in unity.
The world yearned for completeness, as did its people.
Through attraction, the world finds wholeness. Through action, so do people.

This scripture emerged post-fusion, written by the newly established joint church of Surface and Underground, serving as a recruitment slogan.
It emphasizes the pursuit of "completeness"-the idea that good and evil shouldn't be absolute, and no one is inherently whole.

Each inhabitant is born with a "True Self," representing their deepest emotional pursuit. This is the innate feeling they instinctively strive for.
As they grow, inhabitants continually seek to uncover their True Self. Understanding oneself is a lifelong journey. Only by discovering their True Self can they harness immense power.
The purer the understanding of one's True Self, the stronger and more fulfilled one becomes. Even the weakest soul can achieve great strength upon fully realizing their essence.
When responsibility aligns with pursuit, inhabitants find unwavering commitment to their roles.
Once emotional fulfillment peaks and understanding deepens, they approach a state of "Purity."
This legendary state is said to grant unparalleled power, even altering timelines. Some achieve temporary glimpses of Purity through moments of profound enlightenment, planting seeds of ultimate emotional growth.
