I feel like the main issue with vampire is that it's just excessively buggy. Any bug fix towards vamp would be considered a buff in my opinion. (I.e. teleporting in vampire's freeze, this is bs and extremely annoying when playing against any time stand). Edit: Vamp's freeze also doesn't accurately show where the player is frozen, their player model will be in the freeze but their stand/hitbox will be like 50 miles away and that screws up combos that I try to do with freeze.

@@SleepyXBandit I'm fine with the fact that they can block because you can just pair freeze with unblockable/block breaking moves. It's just that, that doesn't work if you 1. Can't tell where they are. Or 2. If they straight up teleport away. Vamp freeze can be a really good tool for combos but these bugs are really holding it back from it's true potential. It's a move that's meant to HOLD THEM IN PLACE, it kinda defeats the point if they can just easily teleport away.

We better be hoping for some real good balancing if Uzu has to make a google document for how big this update will be. This is the first time in nine months where I would have high expectations for what Uzu has to offer. Besides the new map/StoneFree, if I DON’T see at least THREE of the four metaMENACES get nerfed (for my list of meta-menaces, it’s TWAU,SP,SCR, and MiH), I will not even dare use Stone Free in 1v1s, since everybody knows it W I L L get walled out by those non nerfed metas/half metas (like KC/KCR, D4CLT, and TWOH, but they have genuine non specific stand based counterplay(Like how MiH and SCR only really get crushed by TimeStop), unlike the four metas I listed above). PLEASE UZU YOU BETTER HAVE GOOD STUFF/BALANCES THIS UPDATE -Forgot about boxing balances, buffing specs like Hamon’s ScarletRedOverdrive to JawBreaker level shouldn’t be the solution. Jaw Breaker and VaporizationFreezing should just get nerfed to ScarletRedOverdrive’s level, as that unparryable blockbreak has legit balance. For JawBreaker, a 13 second cooldown, unparryable, 24 second windup, 42.5 damage move IS NOT OKAY. Why else do you see most lesser used stands abuse this move? It should have longer startup, less damage, and 7 more seconds of cooldown. VaporizationFreezing doesn’t need that much of a gut, just make it’s windup slower, and the move should be reactable.
The true menace will be kcr + pluck at that point, being the soft healing from that new move with RM, and also you could live forever, using RM to epitaph (maxed) and TE, healing with the pluck each time.
can't wait for most of the new updates, especially when there'll be new moves for White Album. Though I think that there should be a longer cooldown for pluck's "Resolve" move, taking note that compared with GE's healing cooldown, within around 9 seconds pluck can heal more than GE can. (Legend says free spec storage will become a thing next update)

Another normal damage reducing passive sucks. I have an idea for a Spin Damage passive that works around a "Golden Skin Counter". Basically you have a certain amount of "Golden Skin Counters", A counter will be consumed each time a player gets hit by a move, every move will have it's damage halved and make the stun a bit less loss. When the last counter is consumed, "Golden skin" will go on cooldown, once the cooldown ends the "Golden Skin Counters" will be replinished and the cycle repeats again. This will work in spin's favor and bring up new skill tree upgrades and new tactics, making the usage of your damage reducers actually brainrequired. (Also, moves like barrage, Arrow slash, Million pricks etc don't completely waste all the counters)
They should reverse the requirements for Riposte and Resolve, I feel like it would make more sense if you get a damage boost when you break blocks whilst being offensive and gain health when you perfect block whilst you're being defensive
I mean, if time acceleration won't affect the cooldowns, then what was the point of increasing the double accel cooldown? If we are gonna be slow for 50% of the time, then they should increase mihs damage because without speed you can't deal damage at all.

9:24, Eclipse it says that you can't force their stand away so there's no way people are gonna get one shot because once the rock trap ends and if they get eye gouged they can just barrage.
what you're forgetting is that heavy punch has hyperarmour, and they should make rock trap a separate move and not have hyperarmour so you dont just get oneshot
21:34 people with high ping sometimes can’t block on getup fast enough for certain things so this essentially is just a free combo for high ping people

The first one: RHCP doesn't take bar unless you use moves except if you have electrify enabled, and electrify makes your m1s stun. Finally: nerfing good stuff to be as bad as the bad stuff makes the game sometimes less fun, a lot of examples can be took from aba. While nerfing the good stuff a Lil bit while also buffing the bad stuff a Lil bit is a good thing.
I honestly believe they are going overkill on hg nerfs. If you look at the stand, its spec moves are its entire kit essentially. And I don't like that you just... can't use spec moves during marionettes. If they are worried about stand crash in marionettes to one shot, just let people resummon their stand in marionettes if they aren't stunned.

As a former hg pluck user this is a HUGE nerd to hg. They have to either buff it’s base damage or buff some of the other moves wether it’s lower cool downs, the moves last longer, or whatever. Plus nobody uses hg anyways so to nerf a stand that almost nobody uses to this extent is unnecessary
Scary monsters has very small hit boxes for the sub abilities as well, making them totally unusable and the pounce is quite a 50/50 you either get them and do some combo with the minion or just get blocked and run away because of the speed of SM. And giving head charge a windup will make it either really bad or just somewhat bad because making it too long let's people run off or stall the head charge since head charge isn't really long enough to hit someone running away. So I think it should get a buff on duration but other than that I think it's good nerf.
What I hate abt head charge is that, after not hitting someone with head charge, makes you go slower for some reason, and bite does some ridiculous dmg,pounce isn't that good to even begin with since long wind up and its blockable. I usually dont put out my minion and heal, most of the time, I use the minion to rush my opponent for a bite, so the nerf isn't gonna hurt me that much, but I wish they fix the barrage. Respectfully from, an sm vamp main (btw sm vamp is op ngl)

i like the changes for scr I think scr’s entire point is really to use as SUPPORT not as a main dps, with all these changes its best to use scr for teams since, if you do use arrow barrage your friend can help you by barraging the opponent as you cant barrage after arrow barrage. The pilot not slowing teammates is extremely helpful too as with this your teamates can actually get up to you’re opponents without you being the only one that can

ger is already in a bad spot and it’s becoming even worse. not being able to block or dash should’ve been a given for rtz or certain abilities. gers counter (which is arguably the worst in the game) is getting nerfed by having less time to do damage and even longer windup.
You know eclipse. My channel has been failing the moment I started trying to make HIGH quality projects and release them for others to use for their own purposes such as education or just shoving into their game without polishing anything. These high quality stuff I've been trying to make always end up making me lose motivation or takes too long to make and I can't catch up. Which resulted in a almost-a-year of me leaving UA-cam to catch up on my life in school. So now, I'm no longer doing tutorials on High quality projects, I'm just gonna make them and upload them to youtube. Since my family doesn't let me use voice chat or just my voice in youtube, I really just can't do anything about it.
Yeah, he's just gutting timestop completely. The stun change was more than enough, so you don't get extra barrage damage. Now you have to get a block break which is very inconsistent and unreliable compared to just pressing ora kicks once, or smite once. The whole problem of timestop combo is negated with the removal of the ability to stun people, so why go further and make it nearly impossible to land. If someone ora kicks you or smites to time stop you'll just take a bunch of damage from the ts and... thats it

as a anubis pluck user, i'm pretty ok with this update pluck is ok for me actually. i never cared for lingering pierce strike and crescent slash. also new passive is actually interesting! anubis was unchanged, and i was pretty scared of nerf. (anubis counter already had a windup so new counter change doesn't change it too much.)
I feel like they should do something about chop passive to compensate for the major KC nerfs (I'm bias towards KC and I still want it to be somewhat in the meta lol).

I have a reason as to why they did both of the changes to arrow barrage, if you put your stand away mid arrow barrage, you can still boxing barrage. If the barrage didnt have a universal cooldown, you would still have the triple barrage cheese.
My one hope was for tusk's nails to be not completely invalidated by the holding of the f key. Even with this being a huge balance change, I don't see the meta shifting that much outside of kc sweats crying. As you said, we just gotta let time play out, it's too early to make proper assumptions
I think making skull crusher blockable would make SPTW more op because if the opponent blocks skull crusher you can just use ora kicks or barrage finisher to block break them
Even if you couldn't use any spec moves during marionate control , that thing would be still op beacuse you can confirm moves such as emerald barrier , or emerald splash. As a HG player think this change it's petty shitty , but it would still be OP in 2v2 so , hey , is not that bad ya know
There was also another change proposed for HG instead of this one, which is upon ANY ragdolls, you are free from marionette control, which mean you wouldn't be able to do stand-crash inescapable combo

further into the video i see a nerf to anubis counter, the counter is already buggy enough, why give an even bigger window for people to hit you while it’s active?
I'm a bit mixed with Hierophant Green's balances here. On one hand, I understand how powerful the stand is in terms of how its used, especially with boxing. On another hand, nerfing it so that spec moves can't be used while the opponent's under Marionette Control is a bit too much. This is like the hamon punch nerf with TWOH, but spec moves are no longer in the equation when using a specific stand move. If anything, I think a few good options for a nerf on Hierophant Green would be to either reduce the amount of time the player's under Marionette Control by 2-3 seconds shorter or make Emerald Barrier no longer stun if the player in Marionette Control comes in contact with the former.
Not playing this game and watching videos on it is like watching someone in a toxic relationship, continuously saying "hes not like that at home though" and that they can "still improve the relationship"
these balance changes mean nothing if road roller's voice line isn't the actual "ROADA ROLLA DAAA!" as well as star platinum's time stop having the same sound effect as the world's despite having a different sound effect canonically
As a pluck player, its sad to see the lingering pierce strike go but other than that i feel like it isnt that bad of a change. They fixed the thing where pluck players could die to one timestop or whatever with those passives so i think this update isn't that bad.
here's my main issue with GER balancing, unless they give it GE's kick barrage too it'll have nothing really to do on offense. nobody will throw out a random TS on a GER in 1v1s unless they suck, so really all GER has is a mediocre counter, and awakening M1s, kinda becomes even more of a one trick pony than it was before, feel like the balancing should've at least had 1 or 2 offensive rebalances/buffs like maybe nerfing the scorpion's damage but in return, slightly nerfing the endlag (though not like old endlag so no scorp barrage) and maybe making the scorpions appear faster. not a balancing genius, but i feel like there's some big flaws with nuking ger's 1v1 offensive capabilities
I really feel like they should just get rid of it’s counter completely and replace it with muda kicks. It really only needs a kick barrage to be good. That, or buff the life forms so that they actually track or just come out faster. Bc currently you don’t even have to block them. Just move slightly to the right or left. On top of them being very difficult to combo with. Very disappointed with his changes. Ger shouldn’t be an overly strong team stand and shit in 1v1s. Maybe I like playing the game by myself :/
if the counter didnt even get cancelled, you could just throw it out while getting m1s, get the opponent stunned, and use any move you would like, this would be extremely busted because ger could just throw out his scorpions and life forms, making it probably one of the most busted stands in the game
I think the SCR arrow barrage making it so you can’t use another barrage after is so when you use arrow barrage you can’t look away from the person at the end of the arrow barrage (when in knocks you down) and make it so it doesn’t knock you down and making it so you can just carry on the combo.

i like some of the changes but the main thing they should focus on is mobile, mobile players have a massive disadvantage when it comes to pvp (not being able too pose , not being able too use moves like inf speed or skull crusher,block delay,dashing,etc)its been like this since the game was released i hope they change that
As a mobile player I can confirm all of this is true but not only that but some mobile players like me usually crash very often once u get in main game which is a big issue
i have quite a bit more faith in uzu considering what people like paragon have said about the update, as well as a number of other things, but even still i’m keeping my expectations as just stone free and the new map, and if i’m surprised by more, that’d be awesome, but i’m honestly not expecting too much
idk if they're gonna do this, but for a while I've been thinking about rage TS's being able to be used while still having time skip, and I think that having TS on the rage button is a good way to implement it, you don't need an extra button because the rage key is literally useless once it is already activated, and since TS can only be used in rage, it wouldn't cause any other issues. Maybe the game development side for that is hard, but it would be really convenient if we could do that, because more keybinds is gonna be really hard especially with pluck

They should reverse the requirements for Riposte and Resolve, I feel like it would make more sense if you get a damage boost when you break blocks whilst being offensive and gain health when you perfect block whilst you're being defensive

9:24, Eclipse it says that you can't force their stand away so there's no way people are gonna get one shot because once the rock trap ends and if they get eye gouged they can just barrage.
You can eye gouge right before the end of rock trap and the stun carries over to the second rock trap hit
what you're forgetting is that heavy punch has hyperarmour, and they should make rock trap a separate move and not have hyperarmour so you dont just get oneshot

About the 2nd one:
hamon makes you unable to parry stuff like beatdown while charging, if you suggest to stand far, "timeskip" exists
And it's really annoying that it disables sprint.
The first one: RHCP doesn't take bar unless you use moves except if you have electrify enabled, and electrify makes your m1s stun.
Finally: nerfing good stuff to be as bad as the bad stuff makes the game sometimes less fun, a lot of examples can be took from aba.
While nerfing the good stuff a Lil bit while also buffing the bad stuff a Lil bit is a good thing.

I honestly believe they are going overkill on hg nerfs. If you look at the stand, its spec moves are its entire kit essentially. And I don't like that you just... can't use spec moves during marionettes. If they are worried about stand crash in marionettes to one shot, just let people resummon their stand in marionettes if they aren't stunned.

As a former hg pluck user this is a HUGE nerd to hg. They have to either buff it’s base damage or buff some of the other moves wether it’s lower cool downs, the moves last longer, or whatever. Plus nobody uses hg anyways so to nerf a stand that almost nobody uses to this extent is unnecessary

Scary monsters has very small hit boxes for the sub abilities as well, making them totally unusable and the pounce is quite a 50/50 you either get them and do some combo with the minion or just get blocked and run away because of the speed of SM. And giving head charge a windup will make it either really bad or just somewhat bad because making it too long let's people run off or stall the head charge since head charge isn't really long enough to hit someone running away. So I think it should get a buff on duration but other than that I think it's good nerf.
And you can barely get any m1s in an m1 fight cause of the janky hitbox too…

What I hate abt head charge is that, after not hitting someone with head charge, makes you go slower for some reason, and bite does some ridiculous dmg,pounce isn't that good to even begin with since long wind up and its blockable. I usually dont put out my minion and heal, most of the time, I use the minion to rush my opponent for a bite, so the nerf isn't gonna hurt me that much, but I wish they fix the barrage. Not really sure what the purpose of damage resistance on resolve is for. You’re the one block breaking, so you shouldn’t be the one getting hit.

I think scr’s entire point is really to use as SUPPORT not as a main dps, with all these changes its best to use scr for teams since, if you do use arrow barrage your friend can help you by barraging the opponent as you cant barrage after arrow barrage. The pilot not slowing teammates is extremely helpful too as with this your teamates can actually get up to you’re opponents without you being the only one that can

ger is already in a bad spot and it’s becoming even worse. not being able to block or dash should’ve been a given for rtz or certain abilities. gers counter (which is arguably the worst in the game) is getting nerfed by having less time to do damage and even longer windup.

You know eclipse. My channel has been failing the moment I started trying to make HIGH quality projects and release them for others to use for their own purposes such as education or just shoving into their game without polishing anything. These high quality stuff I've been trying to make always end up making me lose motivation or takes too long to make and I can't catch up. Which resulted in a almost-a-year of me leaving UA-cam to catch up on my life in school. So now, I'm no longer doing tutorials on High quality projects, I'm just gonna make them and upload them to youtube. Since my family doesn't let me use voice chat or just my voice in youtube, I really just can't do anything about it.
Yeah, he's just gutting timestop completely. The stun change was more than enough, so you don't get extra barrage damage. Now you have to get a block break which is very inconsistent and unreliable compared to just pressing ora kicks once, or smite once.
The whole problem of timestop combo is negated with the removal of the ability to stun people, so why go further and make it nearly impossible to land. If someone ora kicks you or smites to time stop you'll just take a bunch of damage from the ts and... thats it

I have a reason as to why they did both of the changes to arrow barrage, if you put your stand away mid arrow barrage, you can still boxing barrage. If the barrage didnt have a universal cooldown, you would still have the triple barrage cheese.

I'm a bit mixed with Hierophant Green's balances here. On one hand, I understand how powerful the stand is in terms of how its used, especially with boxing. On another hand, nerfing it so that spec moves can't be used while the opponent's under Marionette Control is a bit too much. This is like the hamon punch nerf with TWOH, but spec moves are no longer in the equation when using a specific stand move. If anything, I think a few good options for a nerf on Hierophant Green would be to either reduce the amount of time the player's under Marionette Control by 2-3 seconds shorter or make Emerald Barrier no longer stun if the player in Marionette Control comes in contact with the former.
Not playing this game and watching videos on it is like watching someone in a toxic relationship, continuously saying "hes not like that at home though" and that they can "still improve the relationship"
these balance changes mean nothing if road roller's voice line isn't the actual "ROADA ROLLA DAAA!"

As a pluck player, its sad to see the lingering pierce strike go but other than that i feel like it isnt that bad of a change. They fixed the thing where pluck players could die to one timestop or whatever with those passives so i think this update isn't that bad.

here's my main issue with GER balancing, unless they give it GE's kick barrage too it'll have nothing really to do on offense. nobody will throw out a random TS on a GER in 1v1s unless they suck, so really all GER has is a mediocre counter, and awakening M1s, kinda becomes even more of a one trick pony than it was before, feel like the balancing should've at least had 1 or 2 offensive rebalances/buffs like maybe nerfing the scorpion's damage but in return, slightly nerfing the endlag (though not like old endlag so no scorp barrage) and maybe making the scorpions appear faster. not a balancing genius, but i feel like there's some big flaws with nuking ger's 1v1 offensive capabilities
I really feel like they should just get rid of it’s counter completely and replace it with muda kicks. It really only needs a kick barrage to be good. That, or buff the life forms so that they actually track or just come out faster. Bc currently you don’t even have to block them. Just move slightly to the right or left. On top of them being very difficult to combo with. Very disappointed with his changes. Ger shouldn’t be an overly strong team stand and shit in 1v1s. Maybe I like playing the game by myself :/

if the counter didnt even get cancelled, you could just throw it out while getting m1s, get the opponent stunned, and use any move you would like, this would be extremely busted because ger could just throw out his scorpions and life forms, making it probably one of the most busted stands in the game

I think the SCR arrow barrage making it so you can’t use another barrage after is so when you use arrow barrage you can’t look away from the person at the end of the arrow barrage (when in knocks you down) and make it so it doesn’t knock you down and making it so you can just carry on the combo.

i like some of the changes but the main thing they should focus on is mobile,
mobile players have a massive disadvantage when it comes to pvp (not being able too pose , not being able too use moves like inf speed or skull crusher,block delay,dashing,etc)its been like this since the game was released i hope they change that
As a mobile player I can confirm all of this is true but not only that but some mobile players like me usually crash very often once u get in main game which is a big issue

idk if they're gonna do this, but for a while I've been thinking about rage TS's being able to be used while still having time skip, and I think that having TS on the rage button is a good way to implement it, you don't need an extra button because the rage key is literally useless once it is already activated, and since TS can only be used in rage, it wouldn't cause any other issues. Maybe the game development side for that is hard, but it would be really convenient if we could do that, because more keybinds is gonna be really hard especially with pluck
